  5. This is what was tripping me out abit too, no tuner i spoke to said they have ever encountered the casting mark where the idler goes... they said they are all flat . The casting gets in the way of mine... it wasnt a big issue we made it flat but dno if that helps u guys distinguish what type of block it is.
  6. excellent man. more feedback the better for me and future people. anyone else?
  7. Yeah i seen that , 8 second defs made me feel better but usually 8 seconds could be rebuilt motors after so many runs etc.. Ok this is excellent feed back... This makes me feel alot better about it. Did you guys torque the bolts to the recommended setting or go a lil extra? From memory it was like 85
  8. Bloodyhell i wish i seen this and didnt spend over 18k ! :@ Did you guys use RB26 12mm ARP Head studs or RB25 11mm ARP Head Studs?
  9. Can i please ask if anyone has ever had a drama with using rb25 arp head studs in a RB26/30. And if you havent had any dramas what power and boost were you running with the 25studs. Wish my builder told me about this before we got 3/4 through building the engine... im abit worried about running the rb25 head studs.. Only gna be running around 26psi or so through GT-SS with larger rear housings on e85 and higher com, type b poncams, ported etc etc.. Should be around the 400kw flat mark if im lucky.... But im kind of pissed off because i have ibeam rods and what not now i feel like the rb25 head studs is my weakest link ! :@ Now if i want to go a single or something in the future im gna feel like its just gna pop.

  15. Hi All, Selling R32 GTR Turbos with Steel wheels + 2.5" Dump Pipes, All factory fit obviously. These turbos were rebuilt 15000kms ago by the previous owner and they have steel wheels in them now. Im selling them because im upgrading, Otherwise there is nothing at all wrong with them. i was running 234kw on 16psi with standard ecu. Should be no reason to get in excess of 270kw with a ecu + port matching the manifolds that i'll give you. I've run constant 11 second pass's with these turbos and they are great (vid in my sig). I would like $450 For the lot, which is a fair price i think considering ceramics go for like 350 by themselves and your getting steels + dumps. Blacktown Area for pick up, Wont be freighting unless your prepared to pay for freight.
