  1. Its not that bad. and my weekend gtr is my fun car.. I take it on the track / drags too... and i've driven 12000kms in less then a year in my weekend car FYI. Just to proove how far i drive kinda thing lol. 75000kms roughly but u no what imports are like... It is quite immac though... Genuine paint/ great interior.. Who knows.
  2. Yeah i know cams & headgasket wasnt required but at the same time im pulling this head off with my mate. So im not gna be spending thousands in labour. I know it probably wont pop the head with the arp studs but my weekend gtr takes drives as far as nowra so the more reliability i can get the better i say. Cams was recommended by Jem and crd so i went with it. thanks for your helpful posts too mate.
  3. Thanks guys !! great input Yeah ill keep my exhaust I didn't really want to get rid of it neway, Im all about responsive power... I believe thats gna crack my 10.99 std turbos and std ecu i did 11.8... hoping for a 10 after this. JEM said my exhaust will be fine .. Ill save my money. The exhaust is HKS Dumps, HKS Fronts, Metallic 100cell by Hakan and custom catback from Hakan. @ Performance exhaust centre. I like the note its a true note... Oval Muffler.

  5. Hi All, Own a R32 GTR I've currently got 2.5" Inch Dumps to 2.5" Front Pipes to a 100cell then true 3" Right back. ( Currently on stock turbos ) My new setup that will be completed this year will be HKS GT-SS Haltech Pro Tomei Cam gears Tomei Pon Cams type b Arp Head studs Tomei Metal Headgasket 1.0mm Id1000s Tomei Valve Springs. E85 & 98 Tune. Looking around 350awkw hopefully or there abouts... Now is it worth me going a new exhaust.? Will i be restricted by this exhaust? I'm thinking of going 3" Dumps to 3" Splits to 100cell then 3.5" Right back but i dont want to lose my down low response. By upgrading the size a little will it be even noticeable response difference? Getting so many different opinions id love to see some dynos before and after exhausts if they could display for me? Thanks all.

  8. Thats insane... Man i ran a PB of 11.8 @ 116mph on the stock turbos rebuilt with steel wheels @16psi Stock standard ecu... Only a EVC 6 boost controller tune. Exhaust has bigger dumps, 2.5" Splits to a 100cell and 3" back Splitfires Stock standard Internals. 1.7 60ft time KU31 tyres. Nothing is worked. Thats why im so geed to get the new setup rolling that i got at the top of page 17. Hoping to nail a high 10 Some ppl said 350 kw is the apsolute max the GT-SS will get.... Im soo keen to hear your setup Levin

Yeah i ran 12.6 first time i draged and all i changes since that visit was 13psi to 16psi and factory cat to 100cell... i thought maybe 12.4 then i did 12.4 and i was cheering... i approached the launch a lil different and adjusted my tyre pressures & spring setup.... and yeah ran back to back 11s. loved it ! Cant wait .... I pray i can crack a 10.99 on the gt-ss that would proove alot of ppl that them lil twins are still a go'er

I've got a r32 gtr 1994 I've got a ill list going of stuff on order + stuff I have already on the side HKS GT-SS + hks actuators , hks dumps , hks 2.5" splits to a true 3" back plus 100cell Haltech pro Tomei cam gears Tomei pom cams type b Tomei valve springs Tomei metal head gasket Tomei timing belt Id1000s Arp head studs Will be getting the sensor to run e85 & 98 Hoping for anything between 330-350 on e85 I ran 11.8 on stock turbos and stock ecu with ku31 tyres back to back ... Only improvements was 16psi and full exhaust... Nothing of the above list beside exhaust was in this setup @234kw ..... Really keen to see what I'll run at the new was my run... Times lip in the description .. Excuse my idiotic screening after the run... Was a tad excited. I'll update u as I go. Great read....
  12. lol on 234kw with ku31 tyres, stock ecu and stock turbos. turboback exhaust and 16psi boost. i ran 11.8 then 11.9 back to back. excedy clutch. its not that hard if you can get your launch approach right with a correct setup ( Tyre pressure and suspension )
  13. i ran 11.8 on 234kw on 98 octane stock turbos just replaced with steel wheels stock ecu , ku31s all round. ( excuse my screaming after the race... was tad excited ) time slip is in description. got abit of a list of parts to buy.... keen to see my future result.

Hi All I'm selling my reliable daily drive 1.6 Litre manual 1997 Advantage Toyota Corolla. $3400 NEG, 0430093623 This car has been babied since i've ever owned it and looks to have been babied previously too with the following - A Super tight gearbox - Near perfect interior.. Roof lining 100% Perfect , dash is perfect. - Exterior is good for the age too beside on the drivers side some clear coat peeling... Nothing to dramatic... - Mechanically Perfect, & never missed a beat. i'm fussy with my cars and i have serviced this car every 5000kms. - Freshy Tinted Windows ( late 2012 ) - Rockford Speakers All round with a amp for a Rockford 12" Sub. + Kenwood headunit. They are not cheap crap either! - New Front Brakes ( Bendix ) + New Rotors - Only 131000 kms on this car and they are genuine. The previous owner was a city owner by the looks of the log books and therefore you can understand they probably took public transport and kept kms down. - Unlike alot of shit box's out there you wont be wasting your time coming to see this car... - Just Clayed and Buffed this car in 2013 - The genuine reason for this sale is because im getting one of them massive anoying transit vans from work being a sales rep in a battery joint and theres no point to keep a daily nemore with that big bugger around ( Can show you proof of this aswell i know alot of people write this for the sake of it ) For Daily this was a great car for me.. 470+kms to a tank... + I'm not a believer of that E10... I've only ever used unleaded 91 or vortex 95... I wasn't a tight ass with this car even if it was a daily... Treated me good so i treated her good. Give me a buzz from 8am-9:30pm Anyday... If i miss your call leave your name and number so i know your not a dud and ill ring you back.. I would prefer a Text in the hours of 8am-5pm & Calls After that till 9:30pm Price is negotiable however don't think im going into go into ridiculous prices because im not stupid and i will get the shits for low ballers.. Have a look at what the other corollas go for and how many kms are on them. Thanks for looking , hopefully it goes to a good home. You can see the car in Marayong which is 2-3mins From Blacktown..   20. it was purely because the oil cooler rapes alot of my oil.. Should have used my head more ... got a 16row oil cooler ofc its gna use least a litre. Put 6litres in like u guys said and its totally fine now..... not one bit of drop even at 180kph at drags
  21. would 10-60 be ok for a oil temp between 70-80 though? yeah stock motor, 19 yrs old.

  23. So you recommend pretty much completely ignoring the H and L indicators ? i always thought myself overfilling it by more then half a litre would be a bad idea
  24. Hey fellas im having this problem with my r32 gtr. 10-40 Royal purple Stock motor, Greddy oil cooler. put 4.80 litres in and its over the full mark just about the H still getting droping down of pressure from 6 to around the 3 mark on my defi din gauges which arnt even 4months old. Thoughts?
