  1. Ah, damn, too far away Good luck with sale anyway
  2. May have missed it, but where are you located?
  3. Oh, well if you put it that way then it could weigh 2000KG+ Fluids + Driver + 4 Passengers + boot full of bricks, etc, etc. BTW 1400KG is the Curb weight, meaning it has a full (or Half) tank of fuel AND all fluids the cars needs to run.
  4. They weigh in around 1400KG's actually. I didn't buy my 25GT for drags or w/e, I just like the look of them, it is my first car, but I have driven a GT-T as well as a 25GT (Duh) before and frankly they aren't THAT slow for NA standards. Of course after I'm off my P's a GT-T or TT Supra will be replacing it, but that's 5 years from now.
  5. Can't edit OP, Would also be very interested in a R34 Boot + Wing as it would save me installation cost, but again, must be white.
  6. Hey guys, As above, must be white and prefer pickup in Melbourne or postage from interstate is fine as long as seller is reputable.
  7. This would look a bit try hard on a N/A wouldn't it? But then again, I could reuse it on a GTT when I get off my P's? How much would you reckon it would cost to spray it white and get it fitted? I live in Melb aswell so i could pick it up.
  8. Yea, they were on the car when I first went to look at it, not sure of width/offsets, but they looked good on the car. They were taken off for RWC though as they had snow tires on. He is willing to give me the Stockies and the EDO's for $500, the tires on both sets have a lot of thread left (80%?), but the EDO's were removed for RWC as they had snow tires on.. So later on I will have to buy some new tires for the EDO's, but I can use the stockies for now
  9. None sorry, only the stock Rims are pictured on Carsales, he wasn't planning to sell them.
  10. Hey guys, As above has anyone heard of this brand? Currently buying my R34 and the owner says I can have them for $500 + Stock Rims, they're Black with a red strip on the edge, I'm pretty sure it was custom powder-coated (Glossy/bumpy). Not sure if they're worth $500 minus however much stock rims are worth, I quite like the look of them, but not sure if they are worth it. This is pretty much all I know, 17", EDO Branded, Custom powder-coated and came on another car owner had imported from Japan. Google didn't yield any results, so any help is appreciated
  11. No worries, I have yet to pick the car up yet, but I've been looking for a white wing for it
  12. How much would you be looking at for the boot lid + wing? Honestly, I have no idea or I would make an offer.
  13. Thanks for clearing that up It most likely is the base model, in that case there shouldn't be a problem.
  14. Hey guys, Well I got 15K back, as it actually wasn't needed for the deposit....but the car is sold now anyway :@ I am currently looking at one, it's in very good condition, quite, smooth ride, went through the checklist on the "Buying a Skyline - What to look for?" thread, the only thing I noticed was some bolts were scratched on the engine, it was imported New Years last year, owner let me look at the import papers etc. Here is a pic of the actual engine bay, You can't see them in the pic, but they are along there. They aren't worn or anything, the are actually in very good shape, but they have little scratches on them, should I be worried about this, or is it normal? EDIT: Also noticed the brakes don't have covers? Like a "Nissan" or "Skyline" logo on them.
  15. Well, thought i might post an update, the dealer is indeed 100% legit, but unfortunately I had to lend 20K of mine to my parents to put on a deposit for a house loan..... For the mean time I will just buy a cheapy 3-5K and use it until I get off my P's and just buy a turbo Skyline. Would also like to thank everyone for their input and time
  16. My mums current car is a 2000 Camry which was bought new, now with 72K on the clock, considering this is a 2001 model, I find it very believable.
  17. Not really sure actually, warranty? I see more benefits buying from a dealer opposed to a private seller.
  18. Hey, I actually gave them a call and this is exactly the case, thanks for your reply. They will be registering the car on Tuesday, so I can drive it away if I buy on Tuesday, the car is a late 2001 model series 2, 65K on the clock, very good ride, I hope all goes well, will keep you guys posted.
  19. I haven't payed for it, nor made a deposit. I took a few pictures of it, and the front windscreen was clean, no stickers on it.
  20. Ok, so what should I be asking them to do? This is my first time buying a car, I have read through the "I'm buying a Skyline... What should I look for?" thread and have checked and test driven the car going through those steps, a lot of them the dealer did without asking, he was even willing to floor it in a 70 zone. How long does it usually take for the car to be registered and RWC?
  21. Hey guys, I'll spare the details and get to the point, I'm buying a used R34 GT, after I pay for it, I have to wait 1 week before I can drive the car away due to them needing to register for Roadworthy (They give 1 year free), is this normal? Should I be worried they might change parts, etc? Any help is appreciated.
