the rolling diameter of a 205/65/r15 or stock skyline 16inch size is pretty much the same as a 235/45/r17, so im not really sure that would have caused an issue? an if theres a smell usually there has to be a leak?....you dont smell the engine oil when it gets hot, nor the gearbox oil if its hot.....so why would you smell the diff? had plenty of mates with worn/slipping LSD's an all that happens is only one wheel spins instead of 2.....no smells....(cept for rubber melting on occasion ) guess you'll soon tell if the smell is now gone an if your clutch is sticking to the floor id say its something to do with the fluid side of it, normally it sticking to the floor means the slave cylinder is leaking (this is on the side of your gearbox, it pushes the fork that engages the clutch) , but then you'd have no clutch at all cause there'd be no pressure?? strange if it only happened once an not again. Maybe air in the system an it needs to be bled? Best bet is to just get it replaced, they'll soon find the problem one they drive it.

think nismo.com.au sell genuine R33 GTR front lips, expect to pay a pretty big price for a series 3 one.....the fibreglass ones are pretty cheap though

thanks for the comments guys, im happy with how they turned out, car doesnt quite look so boring now. as for the F1 style mirrors, just something different really, there not the cheap fake carbon ones you get off ebay, there genuine carbon, i did have the stock ones on, but thought for autosalon id throw those back on again.

finally got some nismo stripes for my 33, so now doesnt look so boring at Autosalon heres some pics I took yesterday before entering it in the show friday night.

buy mine, its awsome, theres a link at the bottom of my signature can even come see it in the flesh at autosalon next weekend, in with the SAU-VIC club.

+45 offsets in those wont fit a skyline without spacers....i've tried. love these rims!! best of luck with the sale. a better offset an i woulda snapped em up

got the recipts for the work done on it? is it a stock head gasket? an also what compression each cylinder have? could slot into my car quite nicely.....

Putting my car in Autosalon in Melb with SAU-VIC in November, an i think it looks a little plain being all white, So im looking for some nismo stripes for it. cant find them anywhere?? anyone know where i can get some ASAP?? any help appretiated. I havent been on the net for like a week, so I was unaware this was happening until now. If you guys need numbers Im happy to enter my 33 (provided it'd actually be approved to show), white (no more carbon), full kit, black rims, 260kw an supporting fruit but if your right for numbers in cars, im happy to be involved an just help out for the weekend......this sure is a fun event to be involved with!! Someone will just have to save me some boot space ;-)
