  1. Hi Mate, Are these still available? I'm after the price for: 19x9.5 +12 19x10.5 +12 Delivered to Brisbane 4109
  2. Hi Mate, Jailbreak your iphone and install an app called "TVOutTuner". This will allow you to mirror your iphone onto the nav screen using a composite cable. I do this with my iphone 3g purely for the Tom Tom app, it works extremely well(apart from the fact that my phone is slow, need to upgrade). Even though the nav screen isnt high res, you are able to clearly read all the text on screen.
  3. Hi Mate, Would you be able to get: OEM Silver/Grey Double Din kit for Navigation fitted 2003 v35 couple (with dual climate control). Cheers,
  4. Hi Mate, Just wondering how you wired up the power supply to the car? Cheers,
  5. Would this fit cars factory navigation screens?
  6. Sorry, I have a question aswell. Initially i was wanting to go with a true coilover setup (Stance GR+ Coilovers), i wanted these because i liked the fact that the spring was mounted onto the strut. But after reading your recommendations on the BC Racing coils, i've decided to go with the BCs. My question is, regarding Toe. Will lowering the car require Toe to be adjusted? i read on some forums that this needs to be done. Which is why i originally opted for a true coilover setup, because you can just buy adjustable toe arms to replace the spring mounts. Going with a OEM coil setup, i belive Toe bolts are required which needs drilling (i would like to avoid any sort of drilling or modification). Is Toe something that needs to be considered? i know rear camber is a must, and front camber is optional. I plan on lowering just to reduce wheel gap, nothing drastic.
  7. Hi Mate, Can i ask you where you bought them from? Im looking at getting some, but the cheapest i've seen are $1,300 from justjap. Cheers,
  8. Cheers for your reply, that helps me alot. I was in the process of ordering stance gr+ pro coils from the US (seeing that our dollar is so awesome atm). But had a few complications with the store accepting overseas credit cards. I might just get the BC Racing ones, as i know i can get them from JustJap. Am i right in assuming you only had your rear guards rolled? It looks like the front guards are pre-rolled stock. Cheers for all your help.
  9. Hi Mate, looks great. Just wondering what sort of suspension you're running and what brand. Springs or Coils? Im looking to lower mine. Also what offset/wdith are your wheels.? Cheers,
  10. Ah i remember that car. Autoshop at Morooka. I also bought my v35 from there. Was tossing up between that car, but i think it didnt have a sunroof.
  11. I also used state roads when i purchased my 2003 v35 coupe, 43K ODO. Highly recommended. I went for the comprehensive inspection. They checked everything and also take the car for a test drive. In the end they told me the only issues were that the battery was abit loose and that the radio was Japanese.
  12. Thanks guys, Yeah ill call up my insurer and let them know about this dodgey repair job. Ill try and get the correct bolt, but i guess im happy everythings back to "normal" now.
  13. Hi Chris, I looked on the other side and yes, the bolt is different. Do you think this will be an issue for me in the future?
  14. Hi Guys, Just want to give you an update on this. So i dropped my car off on monday and picked it up on friday afternoon. Before i had the car assessed i specificly told them to remove all broken glass within the door. Which they agreed to. Below are pictures of how they installed my window. As you can probably see, it was installed crooked. I sprayed the hose over the car and obviously water leaks inside. I decided to see if i could align the window myself. So this is what i found when i opened up the door panel... Pretty much all the broken glass was still sitting in there... So anyway. i was able to align the window myself. It was quite an easy task. I figured ill post it up here in case someone has the same issue in the future. Basically, you have to adjust one bolt. this bolt is circled in red in the picture below. You can loosen the bolt and it will allow you to push the window higher or lower. The body repairers had my bolt right at the bottom. I simply loosened the bolt and pushed it as high as possible. So, my window is now aligned and waterproof. I dont think ill ever be going back that place again. Basically when i rang up my insurer (Just car), they gave me the option to provide 2 quotes from repairers of my choice, or go with their approved repairer. Because i wanted my car to be fixed asap, i opted to go with their repairer as this would have been the easier quicker option (i know now that this is a big mistake). Anyway, im not sure what the rules are for this forum about naming this repairer. But if someone can let me know if i can post their name up or not, ill be ever so happy to do so.
  15. Cheers mate, Car is actually booked in on Monday to get fixed. They said itll take 2-3 days.... includes, fixing window, tinting, and panel damange. I should of been booked in earlier, but bloody insurance (Just car) screwed me around with getting the repair authorised.
  16. I think it was theft of something in the car. The police said that the other people that were hit that night had laptops/wallets/wedding rings stolen. I would hope that it wasnt an attempt to steal the car... that would be very worrying. Im with Justcar so my excess is $400, just waiting for authorisation. hopefully it doesnt take that long.
  17. great news, the panel beaters said they sourced a window from Nissan Melbourne. O'bien also called back saying there was one in Melbourne aswell they quoted me ($930 to source and install the window). Just have to wait for Insurance to authorise it and ill be back on the road :-) Cheers guys
  18. Hi Guys, A couple of nights ago, my v35 coupe was broken into (along with 5 other cars in the area). The bastards smashed my drivers side window. I rang up insurance and they sent me to a panel repairer for assessment and quote. The assessor basically said that the window will need to be sourced from somewhere, most likely Japan... and can take upto 8 weeks! This is my only car, im on annual leave for this week but go back to work next week... its gonna suck driving to work with no window, hopefully it doesnt rain. Has this happened to any of you guys before? if so, where did you guys get your replacment glass from? I rang up O'brian, i remembered they said that they can replace/fix and glass on any make/model. They basically said that they also have to source the window and would need to do a search on it :-( Any help on this would be great. Oh, im located in Brisbane, Forest Lake if that helps. Cheers,
  19. Keen on selling your springs? im currently looking for some atm to lower my v.
  20. Hey Cobey, Great looking car. May i ask what size wheels/offet you are running? I plan on getting some new wheels soon and have been reading alot on offsets and all sort of stuff. I came in a bone stock silver v35 lol. Cheers,
  21. Hi Mate, Bought the 350 coupe a few months ago. When i first got it, if i pressed the button thats suppose to automaitically wind the window all the way up, it would wind all the way up and then wind down about 2 inches. I read about the so called "button" and door my door panel off. after 1 hour of pulling all those black circle stickers off to try and find it (it ended up being the one right in the middle of the door) i saw what i thought was to be the button. The wierd thing is it doesnt look or feel like an actual button, i kept pressing my thumb on it, but it didnt move in or give any indication it was a button or even doing anything. After pressing it in a few times and winding the window up and down, it eventually somehow reset and fixed the issue.
  22. Cheers mate, i thought so. It seems like the dealer is trying to palm me off to the extended warranty. Ill ring them up and let them know. Strangely enough though. I've been testing the lock/unlocking with the fob today and it has worked fine all day... There isnt some sort of "safety" feature on these cars are there? where if i pressed lock, the car wouldnt lock unless i leave it alone for a certain period of time? When i was testing it last night, i would lock it, check the handle straight after and it wasnt locked. Im guessing its an intermittent problem, would rather have it replaced now then later when my stat warranty runs out.
  23. Hi Victor, Thanks for your reply. I was told by me dealer that statutory warranty covers the 3months after i purchase the car. He basicly said that if the car does not work as Nissan intended it to within the 3 months, they have to fix it at their own cost and that it was part of the law (not sure if he was blowing smoke up my ass or not). I also have 5 years extended warranty on the car aswell (with national warranty company). Im not sure what the difference is with statutory warranty and extended warranty. But i guess ill just ring around a few places and get quotes on how much to fix this. Quick question though, did you have to pay for the fix and then the warranty reimbursed you or did the warranty company pay for it all first. Cheers for your help mate.
  24. Hi Guys, I just bought my 2003 v35 coupe last weekend (Will post pics of it up soon). And have now noticed that the drivers side door 90% of the time does not lock/unlock via the remote. I wound the drivers window down and closed the door. when i press lock/unlock on the remote, i can see the door lock on the inside move a couple of milimeters. I've read up on this and it seems that it is a common issue with these cars. I bought the car from a dealer and it is still under the 3-month statutory warrenty. This is the first time i've bought a car from a dealer, so i've never claimed warrenty. I rang up my dealer and he said to take the car to an auto electrician or a mechanic and get a quote from them to fix it, and because of i have statutory warrenty, they're suppose to fax the quote off to the warrenty place (national warrenty company) to get approval... Just wondering from you guys if this is the procedure or not, as im scared that ill get declined and have to pay for the repairs myself. Would you guys suggest i take it to an auto electician or a mechanic. Also, would taking it to a Nissan dealership be better? Sorry about all the questions, im very new to all this. Im also located in Brisbane too, so if you guys can recommend me someone to take it to that would be great. Thanks.
