  1. She will too. I can vouch for her.
  2. As Bobsgirl sometimes says, "Skylines. Hehe."
  3. United we sometimes stand
  4. You've all got fetishes. Bobsgirl: where is my backup?
  5. Only poofs drink Corona
  6. What's the NB?
  7. That was quite helpful thank you. Except for one thing... I think you just told me that I'm going to have that flat spot forever. Perhaps, seeing as I use an AVC-R, I should drop the boost at that point then bring it back up later. Or maybe not now but when I get a fuel computer. Oh hang on. Applying that to our problems... By upping the boost we are raising the voltage of the AFM, ECU pulls timing to protect... so.... back to my last para... I should maybe drop the boost a little between 5600 rpm and 6200 rpm, thus dropping the voltage the AFM sends to the ECU, which doesn't see any problem worth protecting the engine from, therefore I should pick up power through more advanced timing. Does this sound right?
  8. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...achmentid=16174 This is my dyno readout. Check out that flatspot. Boost is good and even at that point so I guess timing is being pulled. Can anyone confirm? Is there anything I can do about this?
  9. ed: I wish. Yotis: Use the buttons all the time mate, that way when you are on the track you will be in sync with your car. I was out on Wakefield which is quite twisty the other day and had no problem using the buttons.
  10. I am. I have an auto too which means I'll be only going piggy back when the time comes. No "Get a PFC, that'll fix it" for me.
  11. They are good. I have them.
  12. I don't know if I'm helping or hindering by posting in this thread but a mechanic thought mine was hitting boost cut but later said it wasn't. Dyno graph says it's not. Timing might be being pulled (my opinion) or I need a bigger intercooler (his opinion). ps feel free to tell me shut up if I'm just confusing things.
  13. You'll have one in two weeks SK
  14. I used to work in a servo and one day the big boss (GM of a company that owned about 60 servo sites) came down and he said if someone buys a tank of fuel and a mars bar then half the profit comes from the mars bar. Also do we call our government "THIS ADMINISTRATION"?????
  15. What did you think about my air fuel ratios dan?
  16. I like it. I always use the tiptronic buttons and it's quite enjoyable. It took a month or two to get used to it but I'm fine now. It's good on the track too. I've been a couple of times. One thing I guess is that it sucks a few extra kilowatts from your motor so you need more for the same level of performance and also engine management is not so clear cut. Manuals you just buy a PFC and that's that. The only thing I think I can reliably use is the Greddy emanage. Haven't got to that yet though.
  17. Mine are .8 with about 10k on them.
  18. Mine does the same thing. I didn't think about it being the split dump though. Hmmm. :waits for experts:
  19. No stickers though
  20. Full zorst and AVC-R. Oh and Nismo panel filter.
  21. Robo: Yeah they certainly seemed to wring it's neck on the dyno didn't they. I went to 7k last night when I miss pressed the button to change into 2nd gear. It didn't seem to hit any rev limiter. Franks: I was going from memory but I think it touched that mark once at Eastern Creek. The rest of the time it stay a little under that even after 15 minutes on the track. It behaves so well. Brakes never fade, never overheats, once got at A/T light to go on but that was at the end of a track session with the last two laps basically being drift laps at Wakefield the other day. Benm: seems it took 5.5 hours I had a proper drive last night and that flat spot is quite annoying but the rest of it... mmmm... power.
  22. Mine is a 99 model and had 66000 on it last year when i bought it. It was in as new condition basically and even though the log books were not filled out everything about the car said it was good. I guess what I'm saying is that a well looked after car with 66000 on the clock would probably fool most of us if it had 30000 on it. One thing that bothers me is, what if you buy a car with "45000" on it when it's actually 90000, 10000 later you don't give it a 100000 service because you think it has 55000, another 10-20000 later something goes bang...
  23. 105-110 I think. It drops very quickly when you slow down.
  24. Yeah seriously considering that. After about 15 mins I need a warm down lap. Might get a bigger one for the trannie fluid too.
