You might want to check your timing chain. That could be the source of the ticking noise. What is the mileage of your 250GT?
Awesome. Thanks for that. I think it's too late to use the fuel system cleaner now, service is due tomorrow.
The ticking is so annoying! It's either the fuel injectors or a bad lifter. We'll find out tomorrow i guess.
Cheers

29th May sounds good...if you guys are up for it, we can go up to the Black Spur between Healesville and Marysville.

I'm game as well.
I went for the last cruise back in February around the Dandenongs.

Guys,
As at today, the weather forecast for Sunday looks good! Sunny with a top of 37 degrees.
-
Confirmed! I'm coming with my brother in the passenger seat.

Thanks.
Will explore that option.
In the meantime, will the Ryco RCA113 fllter work? Seems like a cheaper option.

Hi there,
Sorry to rehash an old thread, but can anybody tell me what the Nissan part number is for the in-cabin air con filter for a 2001 V35 250 GT sedan is?
From my research, I think it is N*B727A79925 Filter-Pollen with the OEM number being 999M1-VS251. If you can confirm this, it will be great.
I need to change my filter as the previous owner smoked with the windows up and its probably all clogged up with ash.
Thanks.

Thanks...Hopefully the weather will be like today....absolutely glorious with not a cloud in the sky.
1000 steps car park sounds good to me..
Hi thinktea, all V's are welcome.
I think it will only be a short cruise though this time. more of a social thing I reckon.
Will have to watch the weather, if we get more rain like we have had recently, my car will stay in the garage
The tyres that the compliance workshop fitted are shocking in the wet. Have only done about 7,000K on them and the have plenty of rubber but try going around a corner in the wet and you can forget it. Bloody Australian standards!
Anyone want to suggest a meet point and time?
1000 steps car park around 9.00 am OK?

Thanks again guys...will let you know how it goes after the fluid change this weekend.. Cheers!
yup good for manual
but pretty sure he is talking about an automatic transmission

Thanks mate.
Matic J from Nissan (partially synthetic)
or NULON GOLD which is a 100% Synthetic Replacement for MATIC J(And all of they're AT Trans Fluids)
about $70 from Auto barn for 4li.
It should also tell you what you NEED to have in there on the Dipstick at the far back of the engine. Dont put anything else in there as it will slip and will demolish your trans

Hi all,
I've just got myself a 2001 V35 250 GT sedan and was thinking of getting the automatic transmission checked out this weekend.
On cold days, it lurches from first to second if you accelerate hard but is ok thereafter from second to third.
Does anyone know what type of fluid the V35 auto gearbox uses?
Thanks.

Hi there,
Just got myself a 2006 V35 (Series 3) direct from Japan. Its currently en-route. The car comes with OEM 19inch RAYS wheels. Is this an indicator as to whether it also comes with LSD?
