Any thing is possible if u have money to waste, If your doing it yourself and know what your doin id say a couple months depending opn your skill level & time allocated etc paying a garage or something if you could even find anyone willing to do it id say ud be lookin around 8-10k, but at least theyd do a good job. just buy another car if you had that sort of coin, I think Wangan Midnight does these sort of conversions in his shed, shoot him a pm he might be able to help you

Try doing burnouts in a higher gear. So u dont stress the motor so much

In my experience with other older types of cars (not imports or nissans but hey an engines an engine right??) white smoke usually means water getting int o a cylinder from a f**ked gasket or cracked head hopefully just head gasket try letting it idle with radiator full and look for bubbles, if u get them then gasket. Theres another way where u use a compressor thru the spark plug holes and also watch radiator but Im not 100% on that one Was there water in it in the end??

r34 went for 4300+ fees woulda been about 4600, back left mag was missing (stockie on) and something bent at the back affecting str8ness of the wheel, also had rubber sprayed up the inside of both gaurds, pretty tidy besides that tho Oh and the 89 wags went for 325.......BARGAIN

Thats a nice reply, I got the same sort of inquires last month when trying to sell my car, f**k paypal I said payment is cash only or cheque and the car will not be released till the money is in my account. Then all such inquires stopped. I talked to my mechanic about such scams and he relayed a story about a friend of his that had an interstate buyer come over to buy an old commodore drag car (vk or something) rocked up with trailer and all then transfered the money on sellers computer in front of him and took the car. Next day old mate checks his bank and its not there, rings the bank etc and its been cancelled! they have no details either and he never sighted id or anything bye bye car......

Any1 end up going down and seeing what it went for????

Hey guys thought id post here rather than start a new thread as my problem is similar, what i have is a mild crunch into fourth gear, if I synchronize it ( double clutch ) its good is this gearbox? I would think so but better to ask some people with more extensive knowledgew of hydraulic clutches etc as my experience is 100% cable style Thanks

Thanks guys, shes of defect now and regod cost me around 1500 all up , had some bits n pieces to replace. I hate to say it but I really like the car, didnt think I would but I do, first turbo car ive owned now I have to decide weather to keep it and sell my other cars ( i have a few) or sell it and keep them Its actually gonna be a hard decision, what sort of prices ar gearboxes and clutches for mine? is it an RB25 motor? I dont know any thing bout these things

well y mech called today and said the brakes and rotors would just pass regency but reccommends changing, ive got some spare cash so I will do it, any reasonable offers for her once shes cleared and registered?

Hey guys the mechanic has told me she has a bigger intercooler and bigger fuel pump, he also told me the cars worth about 10grand!! is this correct for what it is?? I didnt think it was worth that much, what do u guys reckon??

Took the old girl down to my trusty mechanic today, had a good look over and he reckons shes in excellent nick he couldnt spot anything wrong underneath or in the engine bay besides blow off valve and boost controller, also boost gauge in dash isnt connected, looking at about 500-800 bucks, also he said part of the front spoiler is cut out to make room for intercooler, but hes got a stockie to get her past, still havent decided if I wanna sell it, will make decision once I drive it for a bit. goin on holiday so ill be pickn her up on the 9th Feb garunteed passed and ready for rego!!

Damn, by the time its of defect Im thinkn im gonna have to spend 800-1000 to get it on the road so no deal buddy, ill find out tomorrow morn from my mechanic he knows what hes doinhe goes to regency regularly for defected cars and interstate ring-ins so he reckns shell be fine

Perhaps this particular inspector was molested as a child by some-one that drove a skyline?? or maybe molested IN a skyline

Yeah pod filter is secured, no boost gauge in the car one of the defects was non ADR gauges in footwell but they're gone now.... engine bay will be cleane its just dusty as from sitting for about 6 months, do I need a boost gauge as a requirement if I have a turbo??? Also what is the purpose of the braces in the engine bay and boot?? is it something to do with the car havn a weak body???

Yeah I spose if u drive a cop magnet regularly then that would be your opinion as u have no choice, I have 2 other cars with several illegal engine mods and they are full illegal conversions too, ive had cops look under the bonnet of both and they dont even know what they are looking for, it seems to me like the cops have been clued in or trained up or something on the skylines coz they're all over them like stink on shit
