just wanted to know if the Apexi SAFC standard cables are long enough to wire into the ECU, or will i need to make it longer?. Call me dork, but is the ecu unit in the boot near the battery? thx

also to mention when my lights were smashed, it was in st albans and this break in was in chadstone. This is pretty much on the other side of Melbourne. No way in the world they know where i live, since it would be a 1hr drive from st albans to my place, i wuld know any1 following me. Also my papers for my residents are at my uncles, since i used t live there 2yrs ago. so if they saw my licence, bill etc. the address they are lookin at is not where my car is at. So your suggesting some1 that lives on other side of melb, somehow flooked it to follow me to chadstone? i find it impossible for it to be the same group

oh...by the pics does it show these guy(s) know their shit? Knowing exsactly what they were doing? Gets me thinking 1. they couldnt take it becuase the imobilser was just too good? 2. or a customer in the carpark saw them and made them shit themselves and run? <-- this i think most. they really wanted the car, because my stereo (face) wasnt stolen nor my boost guages etc.

i guess this is just a lesson for me. Until it happens to you, you wont do anything about it. Guess it has gotten to me. I'm at work atm. waiting for a call from mechanic for the $ damage. Any here can give an estimate how much its going to cost? Looks like a new ignition will be required.

just few weeks ago i read a thread about "breakinging into a skyline" didnt really read it all, just few post, Now it has gotten me thinking like crazy. how did they break in my car without and damage. no keyhole damage, no panel/door damage, asked the tower dude and he said, anyone who knows there shit can get a hold of some 'keylock' shit, some device that can open anydoor? not sure bahhhhhhhhhhh

Ok i just brought an SAFC II off a good mate still in good condit in box for only $250! yep II not I. The thing is, i dont even have an exhaust, still running on stock exhaust with K&N panel filter and bleeded to 9-10psi. I know this is not pratical as i should get the full 3" exhaust first. What if i install the SAFC and dyno it now on stock exhaust? Would i get a big difference or will my turbo just choke and get no difference at all? or my best choice is to sell the safc for $400ish to invest in a full exhaust? but damn i dont wonna get rid of the safc since it was such a good bargin, and it'll take a while to save up for exhaust =

good news, spent the whole day driving around looking for spare rear taillights. Average cost were around $220-$250 e.a which is a bitch. Lucklily i got a good bargin for $100 which was same colour as my car but the botton part of the tailights was broken. I had to replace the bottom section with my tailight, boy it was a nightmare to take off. Glued like a mother ****er. there was a point i was gonna give up, even 4 different spare part places said, ill have to get both set of lights replaced. So the left side is all sweet now just good as new for $100. Now just for the right side. Any one out there have andy right taillight sitting at home? ill post in WTB as of now too. thx

6-02-04 Hi all, its been about 1 month after my car got smashed(orginal message below). Last night my car was broken in to at chadstone shopping center from btw 6:30p.m to 9:30 p.m. bah this sux so bad, just got my rear lights smashed randomly 1 month ago, now some bastards try to steal my car. ffs how is my luck? Take a look at the damage they done ;( Look at pic4, thats right, they sawed off the fkn metal ignition key. Guess i should be happy the car wasnt gone. thank god to the alarm, or some 1 busting them makign them bolt. but still it all hurts. ---------------------------------------------- original 29-12-2003--------------------------------- just got back from my gf's place before, jumped in my car switched on the lights and start driving back home. Everything seemed to be cool. On my way home i saw some other car with their lights off. so i decided to signal them by turning off light then back on (2 times). The 2nd time i realised i had no more light in my dash board also my boost gauge. At this point i thogut i blew the fuse. So i stopped the car jumped out and went to look at the rear. My lights were practicaly smashed. No bumper marks to indicate a hit from behind. On the left 1 whole light was smashed to the point i could see the globe inside and was hanging out of place. On the right side set of lights the casing was smashed leaving holes. How can this happen? i have no enemies. Havnt had a dispute with anyone recently nor within the past 5+yrs. facted is i park at her house often for months now, why not doing it before why now? Now i need help to find where i can get spare rear headlights fark this suck ;(

ok so i've heard a lot of people say that custom exhuasts made for them, have resulted in no performances or very little, etc and that they rather get a brand name. my mate had his custom 3" full system done from some no named place, which did improve his performance heaps. So any of yous out there had your exhuast system done custom and for how much $ ? - full 3" from turbo back that is. I;ve also heard Mr Mufflers do good exhuast. Can anyone give me an idea what i would be paying for a custom vs a branded? thx
