  1. Scotty not sure if your agreeing with me or not or if that comment was meant for me. But that's exactly what I'm saying, the slots will we sucking in air the whole time to Turbo isn't surging. And will spit out surging air then recirculate it back to the compressor.

  2. Yes. If you do a direct comparison on a Turbo with and without antisurge. The antisurge will have less boost response and less power all over. Because a percentage of air is always going though the antisurge slots bypassing the optimum point where the air should be going (tips of the inducer on the wheel) instead its entering from the sides.

  3. I am after the 0.82 housing as i am doing heavy track work like drifting and circuit, and heat is a major problem I want to reduce. i will be running 44mm external gate, I would like to reach between 280-300 rwkw on 18psi with the best response for this power and thought G2.5 0.82 would be perfect externally gated. I would also like to know if i could have the Nissan dump pipe flange welded on for direct fitment but NO hole or actuator for internal gate (and how much extra this will be). As for the billet wheel it was just an idea.

  4. Your on the money georgesR34. Its all how u drive it. Mind you get the tuner to make it a tad leaner off boost and low loads. Essentially the bigger the Turbo the more often u will be off boost under daily driving duties. Hence using less fuel. I had a car tuned and got better than stock fuel economy stuffing around with AFR's etc. Out of a r32 rb25 with 260kwatw it achieved 500km per tank. I think 63L (correct me if I'm wrong).

  5. I did consider the 20g also, but might not make the 280-300kw I want with a turn flow. And if it did I would need a few more psi. Dori33 and I went to a drift day and he has a 20g and it got super hot. So running slightly less psi will hopefully drop the temps a little.

  6. Nah I didn't mean 20g I meant 25g. I think it will be too laggy and a headache to fit low mount on standard manifold (0.70 a/r) which is what I want to do hence why I would like the 0.60. The only difference is the housing a/r and the shaft diameter which is only 8% smaller. I would like to see full boost before 4000 on around 18psi. I haven't seen a t67 reach full boost before 4000rpm on 98. I would be happy to be corrected as I could go a t67 with billet wheel.

  7. Its good to have documentation from all range of supporting mods working with the turbo. I will index them in the main page.

I've been taken some time off working on my electric turbo again. lol here are some latest updates:

    making.jpg

The new charger runs of 44V 120AMP of power from a 2x 6S power source with RPM controller.

    incar2.jpg

I've installed it on to a Daihatsu Sirion with a 3cyc 0.97L engine. This car makes from 0 to 100KMs in 21secs factory. lol

After appling the charger in 3rd gear full throttle it actually made the Speedo rising a tinny bit faster. There is a just noticeably acceleration gain with the charger is activated and not. I'm installing it on the R33 for dyno runs next weekend. hopefully making better result then the previous one.

Plus I'm working on a VNT .82 rear housing for the G3s hopefully getting SS1PU's response with 330rwkws top end.

I'm would be very keen to be a test mule for this. How long roughly till you have a working version as I have been searching high and low for a variable gometry Turbo. And would the cost be significantly more?
