  1. After seeing mine I'll never go narrower than 245. Its about the perfect amount of stretch for me. Good luck. Hope it all works out. Keep us posted.
  2. Good place to start I'd say. And also 235 won't really give you any more clearance than 245. Both are stretched do they'll angle away from the rim edge, but they're both still locked into the rim at the bead which means theoretically they would be the same. Get my point? Just depends on how much stretch and how much road contact you want I guess. Just another thing to think about.
  3. Mine is a 2000 but I highly doubt that would make any difference. If you go back a heap of pages there's a s2 rs4s running 18x10 +15 with coilovers. That's even less clearance than 9.5 +12 and he doesn't seem to have an issue. Maybe pm him?
  4. And now it's not sideways haha. Oh well.
  5. Just took a pic of mine for you (sorry it's sideways, uploading from phone and it rotated it). As you can see there's quite a bit of clearance with the stock shocks, I'd say a good 15mm. Obviously BC's are thicker though. I'm not sure how much but you can work that out. Mine is as stated earlier s2 rs4s running 18x9.5 +12 with 245 40's.
  6. I run 245 40 on mine. Slightly stretched.
  7. Mine are rota's. If you go back a heap of pages on this thread you'll find pics of 18x10 +15 on an rs4s that look mint if that helps.
  8. The fronts do have a little more poke than the rear if you look from the front but that's only because the front of the car tapers in. Looking from the rear, as you can see, they're pretty flush.
  9. Yeah mate. 18x9.5 +12 all around with 245x40's.
  10. I'm pretty sure the stock wheels are only 7 wide. 18x9.5 +12 fit perfect on my rs4s at standard height. With some low and a touch of camber they'd fit even better. I was going to upload a pic but I can't on my phone.
  11. When you hear a pop and then a whine when it should be boosting, this is probably what you've done. This happened to me yesterday. Shaft is bent along with the destruction you see.
  12. Just wondering if someone with an rs4s can confirm with certainty that 18x9.5 +12 running 245/40's will clear BC Coilovers without any drama. Thanks.
  13. ^^^ THAT ^^^ Each to their own though. I love the 260RS too and it really is the GTR wagon. But if your budget is around 20k and want bang for buck, I'd get an RS4S for 10-13k and spend the rest on go faster bits. As Cowboy1600 said, after that it would kill stock 260's. Good luck with the decision and the ensuing hunt.
