as i said i'll get one down here and ppl will be welcome to try it out but any ceramics go *poof* its not my fault mines been fine at 1.1 bar on the ceramics so yeah......
-
yeah its very hard!!! but this bloke that made this thing is a nut ! his car is still running near standard engine and standard turbos with steel wheel upgrades (we're cursed with ceramics as well from factory ) and getting it going faster than alot upgraded cars, he does run after run after run ect... ect... the time this bloke put in is unbelivable... he has found probs with the toyota ct12a,12b and ct26 turbos and also t25,t28 which this controller is meant to correct (somthing to do with presures and leaks *he lost here somewhere*) but yeah it fixes it and you go faster

the 2J came out in the JZA80 supra (like in fast & furious) and some big luxury cars.... the !J and 2J are almost exact in all spec exept stroke
-
1JZ-GTE came out in a few cars one of being a JZA70 Supra also a Soarer, Chaser (what i use), cresta to name a few they also have some impresive factory specs, but i won't get into that here and now..

greddy T517Z turbos for GTR
mx83toy replied to markr34gtr's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
i want these bad!!! these would make the 1J go nuts not enough money though good luck bump -
thanks! but im not selling em I'm just using one and am very happy!!!...the guy on the site is selling em... I'll try get one down here (syd) and let a few ppl use it, even if you got a very expensive conroller come compare it to this, I'd prefer if ppl already have a controller though it makes it easy to swap over... the price is what it is because of the quality of the valves and research put in... not its electricals and brand name
-
51jay thankyou... i can't belive some of these responses???? this is a car enthusiests forum correct???!!! i cant belive such uneducated resposes from ppl who don't know crap about valves then have the nuts to call others idiots!!! sewid... "Gas filled what? A valve like this works using a spring and a diaphragm. Are you thinking we're all complete morons or something?" No, do some homework, and then come install this in your car and call me an idiot if it goes the same... Yes its something a little differn't but if you use the same things over you'll get the same resaults... I put it in my car and went faster ... that simple. the performance gain you get for the money is wild

keeps the air temp inside the valve cold to make sure it is not affected by heat ohh and for xRHETTx My cressida is powered by a 1JZ-GTE (as in twinturbo 2.5L)as well as a few other mods so... does no where near 18's mate!!! do some homework and you'll find i've posted no info on my times exept how much faster i went, the time you prolly got were of a old NA cressi which would not benifit from any boost mods ....well maybe stronger brakes but thats about it...
-
guys i put one in the cressi and went 0.7 secs faster at the creek no other mods running the same psi it is simular idea (kind of) to the audi one but this one is very precise and gives alot more control over your wastegate, it corrects alot of probs with stocky turbos, the big valve is a standard casing but everything inside it has been custom made (to the point of it being gas filled as well), i run an APEXi S-AFC and using the recall functioni played with the precision in this controller, its unbelivable ie i can go from .91 to .92 to .93 bar ect and give the exact boost every time.... i'm going to get a spare sent down and wecome ppl to try it out instead of sitting there saying its bull (i was one of them till i put one in ) i've seen a few copy attempts but they never work correctly
-
BTW its in the tech tread on purpose...

Hello here is some info on a boost controler that a few us are using on the Toyota's, works extreemly well on standard type turbo's and gives great resaults on external wastegated cars as well.... I'm using one on my 1J and think its money very well spent.... they are EXTREEMLY acurate... same boost in all gears...much faster spool up time COMPLETE control over the turbo/s!!! http://home.kooee.com.au/celicamad/celicam...t%20control.htm
