Thank you all for coming along, the venue people are very happy about us visiting anytime we want... as you could see, they even put on a special menu for us so, they are going out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. As stated at the time, we can aim for a repeat in 2 months time... mid October me thinks. Group hug.

Yes, the cruise part is relatively short, it's all about the get-together really so, happy to hear you'll be joining us.. We'll meet here... And since my line is not finished yet, I'll be driving this...

Just a question... If this car is indeed a 96 model... How come there's so much "series 1" about it. The fact that it doesn't even have airbags alone is a bit of a hint...

Looking forward to meeting all the new members and those who have been around for a while too. After a meeting with the venue's management today, they have agreed, although it's not part of their menu, to make special "SAU pizzas" !!!! There will be a choice of three different ones to start but chef Shane is more than happy to make to order so a big thanks to THE PALMS crew for being so accommodating. Whilst there i though I'd take some pics so you get the idea of what to expect... This is one of the entrances to the venue The car park in all its glory The courtyard that looks directly onto the above mentioned carpark And the dining room with pool tables and a HUGE bar.. there are also gaming facilities for those who want to have a bet. So there you have it, it's shaping up to be a great night

I've just about done most of the interior... the bonnet and the boot lid.... first time.... also the last time lol you need a LOT of patience to get a proper finish so if you're gonna tackle this, bear that in mind.
