  1. Had a look under the dash and where the pedal connects to a metal plate at the back it's clean snapped. I don't know what the part is called nor how to describe it any better does anyone know what I'm talking about?
  2. Hey fellas, I'm having a problem with my R32 gts-t, while driving home the other night I had the clutch go on me. Depressing the clutch to shift up from 2nd into 3rd (not driving hard or anything, just cruising), I've heard a noise (like a snap??), but after that wasn't able to complete the shift and got stuck in neutral. Now when I fully depress the pedal it doesn't open the clutch, it just remains engaged and when i bring my foot off the pedal it's very sticky and gets stuck not even half way up to where it should be. Also if I lift the pedal back to it's original position its just drops to roughly where the friction point would be. So anyway, my question is what may be causing this, as the title states I'm thinking it's the slave cyl. but can anyone confirm or prove otherwise? Thanks in advance.
  3. Hey guys, I've been looking for some replacement pads for a 32 gts-t from the Project Mu line-up. However was looking into the Type NS's and B-Spec's, and was wondering if for street driving which of these would be better suited? Presumably the B-Spec's would be better pads, but for at most hard street use are they worth the extra dollars? Thanks in advance.
  4. Is there like an FAQ thread about this conversion (not a tutorial, I've read about a million of 'em) someone could point me in the direction of? I'm trying to find out what parts are interchangeable from the 20 to the 25. (manifolds, cams, etc.) To see whether I'll need the half-cut or if just an engine, g/box and loom will cut it. Cheers. Edit: Also is there any significant difference in power or ease of installation between the S1 and S2 RB25's?
  5. Sorry to be the one to bring this up for probably close to the gazillionth time. But before you mention it, yes I know there's a search function and yes, Google is my friend, etc, etc. But anyway, I've been searching through forums and the like for a week or so and a lot of threads regarding this swap are from quite a while back. '07ish. Also the reason it's in the WA section is due to possible price differences as compared to other states due to Perth being in the middle of Whoop Whoop. (so delete, close or move if absolutely necessary, but If my there's a recent thread or something I've not found please let me know) I was just wondering, due to the fact that none of the sites really tell you, how much your looking to pay for a RB25DET half-cut these days in WA? (I'm assuming there'd be some form of price depreciation) Whereabouts in Perth is capable/trustworthy of getting these in in good nick, low km's and at a decent price? And any other associated costs? (installation, possible tuning, wiring, etc.) (probably worth noting, is my pathetic mechanical knowledge, I reckon without help I'd be in struggletown getting the engine out by myself) A ballpark figure for each of these (based on recent experience, inside knowledge, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.
  6. That sucks, man.Scum of the Earth, these people. I will keep an eye out. They pre-plan/prepare this stuff, and will on the night break in knowing exactly where your keys will be, and be in and out without a sound in a matter of seconds. Again, scum of the Earth.
  7. Last night about 6:45 heading north on the Mitchell Fwy, had a sex spec, black 35 GTR cruise past me. I was on my way to work in the black 32 coupe.
  8. I'll be at Joondalup, even though the meet is crazy early in the morning, I think I can suck it up for one day.
  9. Saw two silver 33's cruising round the Woodvale Woolworths car park, also saw a silver 32 GTR at the BP (same shops), as for the time it was dark (so maybe 7-9ish).
  10. I usually try and give love to the Soarers out there, but all the drivers these days are older towel headed gentleman with mad beards.
  11. That would've been me, and yours looked very nice as well. I saw like 3 other 32's (parked) down there while trying to find a spot, anyone else from here there tonight? (would've been about 8ish I think?)

    Rising Sunday

I think I may have, assuming your car was parked out front of bar 120, a week or so back. It's didn't look that bad, mind you it was night time, mine is like cracking all over the drivers side and my roof looks like it's been attacked with sandpaper. Either way I'll probably suck it up and head down just for something to do, I haven't been to a meet/cruise yet so it should be good.

    Rising Sunday

If I can get my car in/afford a respray before then I'll be there, at the moment my 21 year old paint is a bit of an eye-sore.
  14. Next to a 180 on the Mitchell the other day cruising at pretty much the same speed. Both of us had windows down, coz I'm a nice bloke I give some love, fingers off the wheel and a nod. Dumb f**k just speeds off, top bloke.
  15. Thanks I'll look into this iSelect business, is it pretty much the same concept as those websites that compare bank interest rates, car insurance rates, etc.? Yeah, I doubt I'll be needing optical like glasses or anything, and probably not needing limb replacements or anything like that just yet. I'm considering psychiatry/psychology I've had to do whichever one I'm thinking of before because growing up and still now I was very short tempered, violent and agressive. I know that I'll want dental (my teeth are rooted/sensitive) and chiropractic (been going on and off since I was like 10 or something). P_______ D_______ S_______?
  16. Hey fellas,so I turned 18 a little while back and as only covered by my parent's HBF family policy thing till the end of the year I turned 18 which was last year. So to benefit myself in ways such as not dying, I'm hoping to get me some health insurance. I see bulk ads on TV for all of the companies claiming they're the best and all the others are worse by using bar graphs and s**t. My question is what should I make sure my policy has in ways of cover? (ambulance, dental, etc.) Also any recommendations or opinions for certain companies would be great. Thanks in advance.
  17. This whole page (above 10+/- posts) is/are regarding Yellow Jackets, +1 for YJ's from me aswell.
  18. I think I've seen something similar called an "eye-witness" or something to that affect. So if there's a crash, red light offence etc. against you, you can show footage and prove your innocence. Not so sure about them being used for interior recording but I don't see why not? Still seems like a pretty good idea.
  19. I get no love. Where I live all there is are fags that drool over their V6 ecotec's broaw. P-plates probably don't help but surely people can tell the difference between a sensible enthusiast and an idiot that has neons and chromies and tries to hit full speed between every set of lights/speed bumps. No love to maroon S1 R33's and that's about it. (besides some of the above mentioned) I know/think I saw Stealths X-trail (it was definitely an X-trail) the other day or last night on Warwick or Hepburn or Beach Rd. (I forget )
  20. Hey guys/girls, What happens is, obviously being winter a lot of the times I go to start the car it's cold, and once started (which it does fine) the revs just want to drop straight back to 0. So I'll sit in the driveway, warming it up, watching the revs and catching them by tapping the throttle if they start to fall to low. However even once I've got the idle running smooth whilst sitting there, once I get going when I depress the clutch pedal mainly for extended periods like decelerating to a stop the revs just continue to drop, again just wanting to stall. Can any think of what might be causing this? (AAC, O2 sensor, AFM?) (I also had a re-tune recently during the much warmer weather, to fix an idle hunt (and self-stall) that I used to have. Could it be related to this at all?) If any of you can shed some light on the situation it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  21. When a website offers a $50 fuel voucher as a incentive/prize, then the "same site" offers you free fuel for a year it is possible to experience hippo-like levels of scepticism.
  22. You'll have more luck in the fs car parts/accessories section.
  23. From like *administrator*? I didn't bother I don't enter stuff unless i know its legit.
  24. WGMG, is that one friend I'm sure most of us have, that is always bugging you to let them drive your car which is bad enough by itself. But then if like me you're stupid enough to let them, they start torturing it. Stalling it constantly, one got the clutch pedal stuck in? (never happened to me before or after this), and actually grinding my gears. After getting like halfway round the block, you're like "nup GTFO". I'm amazed at how bad they were, sure I would've stalled it a few times while getting used to it especially considering the car had a hideous idle hunt when I first got it and stalled by itself. The downside to owning a Skyline.
