  1. bump for a a seriously straight body 4dr!, btw very happy with the bar and skirts, cheers mate
  2. Another thing I noticed, after resetting the ECU, and simply turning the key to on (not starting the car) the engine light spazes out straight away so leaning more so towards an electrical issue..
  3. Awesome , well ive ruled out the AFM itself (replaced with a new one) could still be the looming? And I replaced the o2 sensor about 6weeks ago with a second hand one from nizzpro, whether or not the o2 is gone again I'm not sure, Nizzpro stock brand new o2 sensors for $80 or second hand for $40. Let us know how you go, i just don't want to dump It into a mechanics hands just yet if its a small problem for them to charge me labour for unscrewing a couple things , could be a coil or igniter? Possibly an air leak? Under boost sucking air that doesn't go through the AFM? Or leaking air pressure? Really starting to niggle me haha
  4. Replaced the AFM, disconnected the battery for 10min, reconnected and still playing up, if I touch the throttle and gradually bring the revs up it doesn't misfire (much), but if I stomp the throttle it cuts out for a second then spits like a mofo, and shoots fuel out the exhaust. I'm located on the gold coast..
  5. The engine light started flashing at me when I turned the key too on in my 32 gtst, wasn't like that last time I drove it. It stalls when I touch the accerator and struggles to start, I havnt driven since, only moved it from where it was parked, And holy shit it has no power to even move it, I did some research on how to check the ECU fault codes but didn't have any luck when doing so (i might possibly be retarded) im keen to get this sorted ASAP Any help would be awesome as I'm ripping my hair out trying to figure this shit out myself I'll answer any questions as best I can... Mods are: Exhaust Gtr FMI Coil packs Pod filter r33 series 2 turbo and dump pipe Running 10psi Stock ECU, AFM etc
  6. Thanks guys, I replace it and see how she goes
  7. Basically takes forever to warm up, start it and let it idle for a good 5-10min and the needle moves to just below the 'C' if I start it let it idle for 1min then drive to say "robina to the casino"(gold coast people will know) still not at a desirable temp... Any advice or ideas would be appreciated
  8. Sorry been running around trying to get another turbo, the spare I had was the original stock r32 turbo, the turbo that it was running was alittle bit different, I believe to be an r33 turbo maybe? Code on the front of the compressor housing reads "16v 8", fluid lines and bolts are larger and drain pipe came off on a different angle, can anyone confirm this? It's running a nistune ECU...
  9. I've got a spare turbo which appears to be in good condition, no play etc, I'll swap them over and see how it goes. Thanks for the help guys.
  10. Yes stock turbo, could that also cause the oil to blacken quicky? When I drained the oil it was as black as ever, and was only 2 months old since last oil change. I'm also experiencing a big lack in power and terrible fuel economy If that helps narrow it down to the turbo (forgive my lack of knowledge)
  11. Basically as the title reads, was blowing abit of smoke under boost before but now blows smoke just idleing, and just recently started blowing a constant display of black flakes. I've changed the oil, oil filter, fuel filter, o2 sonsor, flushed the cooling system, changed the spark plugs, cleaned out the AFM with the correct AFM cleaner and now running out of ideas, so if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated, I've also had the ECU checked and came back with no errors or problems, it is running rich but both I and the mechanics are unsure why. Mods - r33 actuator - splitfire coilpacks - greddy boost controller (running 10psi) - R32 Gtr front mount intercooler - full 3.5" cat back Exhaust with hi flow cat and random jap cannon - cold start bi-passed - pod filter - z32 AFM
