  1. My 34 GTR is almost done now and i have been told by my mechanic he wants me to drive it for about 1000km then bring it back to him to make sure its all tourqued up and that sort of thing before i give it some.
  2. The thing is already low, its on a set of Zeil coils at 120mm off the road, im not a fan of the style of that rim. i prefer the style that i linked.

  9. Gona try to make the nats this year, probs just go in the show and shine or something like that if i go down or just go for the cars , also think i should invest in a boost controler since the GTR is running stock as a rock on a built engine when i get it back

  11. http://www.drivingsolutions.com.au/advanced-training/ Dont need anything besides cloths, closed shoes and a street licence and $250. its on a wet skidpan so you wont burn to much rubber, they sit in the car with you and teach u, did it at the start of this year, will be going back with my GTR they let u cut sick great fun.
  12. LMFAO thats gold. I dont have the cash for the sump and NItto pump could only do 1 or the other, im going to be using a stock oil pump with a set of reimax gears in her, the ballfes should deal with the oil starvation issue at hand with the restrictor in the head, its going to be my daily till i pay it off (1-2) yrs and after that ill do the sump and big oil pump and turn her into a monster. From all the shops i have spoken to they all seem to think i will be fine with the OEM pump and gears as long as im not reving out to 10k rpm or anything crazy like that constantly. Ill be doing the 1L overfill also, btw what oil do you guys find to be the best for the GTR?

Well i sold my V35 as the total cost was going to be close to that of a GTR and i now have a bayside blue GTR with a spun bearing in the shop being built, im paying around 7.5k including parts for a rebuild to be done on it, 2/3 of that is labour costs, best thing u can do is call around to some shops. if you are in sydney u can try team K kustoms where my GTR Is Marcus knows his stuff and is looking after me.
  16. I can confirm this for you, my GTR is a 1999 R34, i have coilovers and a exhaust on it with a set of NUR spec NTo3+M rims, and i had to weigh it for blue slip, it came it at 1640KG with a 3/4 tank of fuel.
  17. for the moment its going to stay stock turbos and ECU, dont have the cash to do the turbos and an ECU, i will be putting a set of HKS turbos in once i get some money and doing an ECU. i dont have a car at all till i get the GTR back, she is daily driven if all goes weill i can pick her up on the 25th and go on the 26th tho, block is appart and being done as we speak, i totaly destroyed the 3rd and 5th bearing

  19. had a noise like that in my new GTR a week after i bought her, turns out i blew the bottom end out, 8.5k forged rebuild being done now, get a 2nd mechanic to look at it, i had 3 look at the GTR b4 i gave it to a shop to fix her.

  21. sorry for reviving an old post but im in the same situation now as u where in, and i just wanted to know what choice you went with and if it was the N1 with gears and restrictor as thats what im looking at doing + sump and cam Baffles.

Or would i be better off going with the stock pump and doing gears over the N1 hmmmm, trying to find flow rates for the N1 so i can compair to the nitto pump as i have read on here that they are close to the same flow rate and that defeats ther purpose of not getting the nitto pump.... wish i had the extra coin to do the sump to, sigh

Hey guys, im looking at getting an N1 pump after what you have all said as i dont have the cash to get the sump and the big pump, what i was looking at doing was replacing the gears in the stock or the N1 pump with billet gears or Reimax gears, i have done some reading and the week point looks like its the gears being crushed under the pressure. Keep in mind my car is running stock boost, stock turbos, and its not going to be a track killer.   25. I have Tomei Sump baffle and a mines cam baffle going in, no sump extension tho, also an oil restrictor going in.
