  1. Hello all, I have these car parts left in my garage, the exhanst tip, stock air intake and the tie pod end are especially for the R33 GTS25. I am planning to sell them all for $100.. Location is at south-east surburb in melbourne, better come and pick them up. Let me know if interested, CHEERS
  2. My car has been stolen while parking at home in Dandenong North area from 5pm July 5th to1pm on 7th. The car is a pretty standard r33 coupe non turbo with 4 bolts on each rim (diff from GTST), plate number is UUX 751, with a white transformer symbol at the back (photos attached). Please give me a hand to report it to police if see the car. Much appreciated folks! Btw, from what I know, thieves are keeping their eyes on these old school skylines and the stealing rate is very high these days. I suggest that owners better to garage them to prevent those filthy things from seeing them. don't be the next victim guys. Also if anyone find any suspicious car parts selling on any forum which may relate to my car, do report it or let me know. Cheers!
  3. Oh no..I thought my r33 could be a special one... sad sad sad
  4. Have no idea on what a lockup torque converter is... auto is so much simple for living... I enjoy it...
  5. I thought all the automatic r33s got 4 speed gear box, but when I listen to my car, its voice drops 4 times after it lauches, I mean I can hear it changing gears four times after when it accelerates from the 1st gear, which means there should be 5 gears in it!! Is there really any 5 speed automatic gear box exist for r33? or my gear box is just wierd? or it changes 4 times just mean it's 4 speed?... Can any expert give an answer...
  6. Could be...... I found when the day was cold, the heater worked very slow. eg: If I set the temprature to 32 at a cold day, it takes like 5 mins to start its job. during the 5 mins, sometimes I would suffering cold air coming out, sometimes it could be nothing.....lol Today I drove my car the whole day, I found the whining sound was not only made by A/C compressor, there must be sth wrong with one of the other belts. I'm not sure whether it could be sth wrong with the new timing belt, as before I got the new one on, the creepy sound seems never existed... The sound was killing me especially everytime the car was idling... I'd better go back to nissan dealer again to check it out, if it's the timing belt issue, must let them to fix it.
  7. Thanks a lot man! I made some research from the type of the belt to know about it as well, I can always get some knowledge from this forum!! Btw, is your R33 making such noticeable noise while your A/C is on either? I'm just wondering how come I didn't notice it earlier as I've already owned it for one year...lol Also, my R33 S2's power steering belt type is 3PK, I heard from someone that for S2, it should be 4PK which is wider than the belt on S1, is it true? Just confused about it, perhaps the PS pump had been changed before...
  8. Hi, everyone, my r33 gts25 got the problem recently which the title described it, the noise is so loud, seems warning me to pay attention to it all the time, especially at low rpm. When we look down at the front of the engine, there are two wheels connecting to the engine output wheel with belts, I guess the one at the top relates to the power steering pump and it's always working when the engine works, the wheel below it only works at a passage of time when the engine is working, sometimes it turns on for a while, then it stops (...I'm not sure whether this one is for the power steering pump... )... and I noticed the whining sound is just made by it when it spins, also it sounds like something's stucked when it stops... I can see the wheel spins and stops while idling, but I don't know what's it for and whether there's a big problem with it, does anyone know about it and how can I solve the problem? Thanks!
  9. Now I can't drive at night, so frustrated do me a favor, ppl...
  10. Yeah, I found it, and it's not a fuse problem after a test... maybe a wire has been torn off, does anyone knows where would the wire be? it deals with the button on the RHS of the steering wheel, when the day turns dark, we usually twirl the button a little bit, to turn on the speedo light, the indicate lights in the front as well as the tail lights, and now they are all not working... however, if i twirl it more, the headlights still works, but the tail lights still stay dim... Does anyone know is that a problem with the wire? which wire should it be? Thanks a lot for any assistance!
  11. Hi, everyone, today i've just changed a head unit on my r33 gts, once the work has been done, the speedo light doesn't work, probably its a problem with a fuse on the driver side blow the steering wheel... Can anyone give me some information about which fuse in that fuse box is relating to the speedo light? coz the info inside the box were written in japanese, can't undertand them... if u can just give me a link about the similar problem would be owesome, thanks!
  12. I did 170kmh twice... the car nearly fell to pieces when i was braking I would try 200kmh on hwy with my RB25DE once i decided to suicide.
  13. For my calculation, I was using shells v-power for a long time, with an accurate figure 11.7L/100km for mixed traffic. Right now as the oil price goes higher I decided to use shells unleaded, with 2 weeks run, i got a figure 10.4L/100km, however, the difference is I went on high way a little bit more recently. On the user's manual, it recommends both RB25DE/DET to use the 91-93 petrol, and I noticed the compression ratio for RB25s are only 9:1, which is designed for normal petrol, now I found using 98 should probably be a waste.
  14. Mine either... Everytime I see it, it breaks my heart...
