Okay just an update: just bought myself a sil80 with these specs: Engine Modifications Nistune Apexi Pod Filter and Adaptor Z32 AFM Power Enterprise 850cc Injectors Garrett GT2871r with 0.64 rear housing (very responsive) Braided turbo lines Cancelled BOV Tomei Rocker Arm Stoppers Tomei Poncams and valve springs Full 3” exhaust with decat Flipped FMIC (short pipes, less lag, more response) Front mount oil cooler with oil filter reloc. kit, Catch can Exedy Heavy Duty Clutch Big fuel pump (cant remember exactly what it was) Thermo fans Suspension Cusco Front coilovers KTS rear coilovers Drift Pineapples Front and rear strut bars Monkey bar/floor brace 5 stud front with s14 brakes Locker diff All Adjustable Suspension Arms R32 GTR Sway Bar Interior Stripped out Nardi Oil Pressure gauge R32 seats Body Brick headlights Bonnet pins Rare Duck Tail Wing Aftermarket Rear Bar and Skirts No Front Bar compression test = 140PSI on all cyl's its all ready for the track just need to replace one tyre. only bad thing is that 2nd crunches so im guessing thats a syncro, so eventually buy a new g/box

exactly my point, im not sure i would have to run a compression test etc

yeah it is pretty mint, he mainly wants the space koz its taking up too much room and he just bought a R33 GTR just wondering what people think i should do koz i don't wanna go throwing my money away lol he said it could last for up to a year maybe?

Hi all, big reader but not a big poster on SUA but i have bit of a problem that i need some advice with, i have an option to buy a nice looking R33 GTST RB25DET with GT35 turbo pushing 350rwhp. its at 150,000k's, its rego'd and he's putting adjustable bilstien shocks on koz he want to keep his coilies that he has on (which i don't mind) He is asking $3500 for it, only real issue is is that he said it has 'low compression', there is no smoke though, also doesn't come with ECU and the g/box grinds a bit into 4th (only if you change fast) apart from that its alright. so im not sure if its worth it? whats everyone's opinions? Pretty sure my options are scrap the engine and put new one in or rebuild? PS: it would be used as a drift car, i also have another R33 but its for street

Hi All, the other night i bought a VL rolling shell, has everything but the eng+g/box, it has everything ready for a V8 so it will be over kill for the straight 6 im putting in it. There is no rust or chassis damage, its my Gf's uncles and he needs the shed space so he said $300 and its mine.. DONE! someone told me today that there is a difference between a VL chassis for the in6 and V8; is that true? koz my plan was to either put the full RB30ET in it or go for the RB30 head and RB25 block? Whats everyone's opinions? Its going to be a track car for drift cant wait to get it started.
