    What is your opinion on younger drivers in imports (mostly skylines)

    every day when driving around I am faced with experienced drivers going slow in overtaking lanes, doing 60 in 70 zones, 50 in 60 zones and people who just dont know how to use a round-a-bout just to name a few things.

    I have come to the conclusion that the road is a crazy place and that everyone does dodgy stuff at some point in their driving lifetime no matter how experienced they are. If you stay aware of your surroundings at all times you will avoid 99% of acidents.

    yeah I forgot that they made 32's all the way up to 95.

    I wanted to do the mods to the gts-t so its enjoyable to drive while i have it... but i want to sell it before it lsoes to much value.

    might not even bother with mags and stereo and just got the ebc and front mount put on soon and get a new front wing/bar what ever its called put on at the same time.

    Hi guys,

    I thought I would start a thread and tell you what ill be doing with my 97 gts-t spec 2 type m skyline in the next year.

    I won’t be doing any major mods to the car really; I just want a nice looking road car that can size up when it needs to. I started off by adding a 3 inch dump pipe to the already 3&1/2 cat back (also a hks air filter). Next ill be adding a profec e01 boost controller and large front mount and at the same time replacing the front wing. Then some 18" rims are on the cards. That should leave me with a nice quick car that looks nice and pretty :). After all that I will probably 2-3k worth of audio in.

    I was planning to drive this around for a year then sell it and buy a 98-99 r34 gt-t or a 93-95 r33 gtr.

    Then start the mod process again, although maybe more heavily then my first attempt.

    What do you think of my idea?

    Never once have i said my car has no cat, some of you are ass clowns that like to lecture people with assumptions handled as facts.

    All i asked was a question.. if you dont know the answer then dont post.

    Erm ....... I seem to remember some espousal of virtues about this forum and the SAU WA club to promote responsible use of modified and high performance imports.  I'm with R34:

    Really guys, there have been plenty of threads in the last 18 months talking about abusing the privileges that we all enjoy (i.e. the right to drive a high performance import) and what that abuse will bring about.  So a load of you half my age have just groaned and gone "WTF!".  Well, if you can't handle it, that's tough.

    There are plenty of mods that are on the margin, but taking your cat off is just crap.  Changes to intakes and the like make a marginal difference in emissions and adding a SAFC or similar actually improves them.  Taking your cat off makes your emissions a hundred times worse.  Boasting about it just shows you need a bit more time in the nursery before you're allowed out to play with the adults.  

    This forum is about responsible use, so if you demonstrate irresponsibility, don't be surprised if you take some flak!  Don't forget this is a pulic forum and you are handing propaganda to those who would regulate us to death.  This is just as bad as that crap about the dickheads cutting up an oval, a while back.  Jeez, guys, get some perspective!

    hrmm no one has really given any usefull information yet :D I like haivng no cat... but if you get in big trouble i will definately replace it with a high flow cat.

    I have been told the cops just give you a yellow sticker the you can just go home and put your cat back on then take it over the pits and avoid any fines.

    can someone please yes or no this?

    ok so i pay 200 to get it installed and i go to pick it up.. and the ygo well its installed and everything is fine except for the fact you cant even get into the boost menu.... ERRRRRRRRRRR anyone heard of this before? have I been sold a broken bc? I have the guys number who sold it to me so ill see what he has to say. is it possible to reinstall teh software on the sd card?

    any comments would help cheers
