  1. Are you thinking about taking the stock water sensor out and putting the autometer in it's place? if so don't, ECU uses it for cold enrichment.

Yeah i thought that may have been the case, well ill upload a photo soon when i get time but im not sure how the gtt sensor comes out factory but my skyline has the top radiator cut in half with a slide in sensor and 2 hose clamps you will understand more what i mean when i provide a photo. But where can i attach the aftermarket gauge sensor? an How?

  2. Hi guys i would like to put in a autometer 52mm water temp gauge onto my r34 skyline. Obviously it needs to be installed on the top end of the radiator (water leaving side).

Do i need anything else apart from the provided adaptor sensor. My stock water sensor is installed on the same line.

  3. The universal ones? They're not gonna fit either mate, notice on the JustJap website it does not mention GTT's in the compatibility list? You've wasted your money if you've already bought them.

GTT's have a unique floor plan, you need to get GTT specific seat rails to suit them. Bride or Recaro are the only ones I know of that make them.

Well anyone with half a brain would know that, but than again anyone with a full brain would know that when you hear the word 'universal' it always means it wont fit/work.

I actually smashed the original seat apart and used the existing rails as 'Hanaldo' stated GTT has very odd floor pan, So you need to get inventive i managed to use the original rails off the gtt stock seat and combine the universal rails together I paid $55.00 for standard universal seat rails it came with 2 peices of strong steel which i bolted across the original rails horizontally than attached the universal rails too the steel. An there you have it i have full adjustment of the seat still and its bolted down very securely. An You dont have to spend big money on rails from recaro. But than again It depends how serious you are if your after the real thing than of course buy your recaros or your brides and pay hundreds for gtt rails.

  4. Hi guys I managed to get my hands on a set of drift seats with rails but they appear to be a universal rail , I am trying to install them into a r34 gtt I just want to know if there is much modifications needed to install and if anyone has done or attempted this. Thanks.

  5. Hay guys i bought a k&n apollo kit (google) it, i gained 4KW aftera dyno run, works well. Entire Kit cost me $200.00 anyone interested in seeing some pics send me a pm with your number and i can txt u some pics, dont have any pics on my pc. So pretty much, remove the entire airbox from engine bay. Get a 3" afm adaptor from either autobarn or supercheap.

The kit comes with a duct kit, it than attachs to the adaptor, than i ran it through the bottom of the engine bay and mounted the pod filter box up in the passenger wheel guards and than has another peice of duct which i than brought out the front grill which gets its cold air from.

I would be happy to help anyone with their installation too if you choose to go down this path, it looks good and you can definitely feel an improvement from just having the old dodgy 3" pod filter sitting out in the engine bay receiving hot engine air.

  6. Hi, I want to replace the stock seats in my 34 for after market bucket seats because the stock ones suck and are to uncomfortable I know how to put the rails etc in but obviously a licensed person must install these to pass te safety approval so. Can anyone tell me how much it would cost and where I could most likely get this done at.
