  1. Spada33: Rotomotion (9378 2666) should be able to at least point you in the right direction, if not sort you out with it all I'm pretty sure that they are the best people to ask about Microtech...
  2. but when using the s-afc you'll be losing kw's the power fc can be tuned to a fine enough degree (per 500rpm I think...) and thus your power band will be more defined the microtech I'm pretty sure is universal, and requires a couple of extra sensors (which don't cost much anyway) and a tune up personally if I were you and you only wanted an apexi piece, then I'd go the power fc and yep, injectors will need to be upgraded for sure, as well as a few other bits but with pleasure (fast car ) comes pain (expenses ) taka kaira's url is www.takakaira.co.jp actually, hmm, doesn't work, maybe it's .com then I don't know
  3. how come you aren't out driving it???? you waiting for someone to drive it for you?? *wink* *wink* *say no more* good stuff mate any mods? pics?
  4. I 'have' to listen to them in the morning at work since it's about a block away from 92.9 and sometimes we get the sh*t hot chicks who work there (NOT Zoe thank JESUS!) but the chicks seem to hang round a lil bit more if u have it in the background...can't object to a lil bit of eye candy at 5am now can ya!
  5. Neither - go Microtech someones selling one here: http://forums.skylinesdownunder.co.nz/show...&threadid=18058 Reason for this is, if you're trying to push out those figures you'll need to change a few other sensors, and at 350rwp you'll need to either upgrade to a z32 afm, or go for a diff ecu, such as the microtech which runs on it's own internal MAP sensor Power fc is just a drop in replacement, so runs off of the std factory sensors. Allows big tuning but the sensors are still the same and will need to be upgraded s-afc is only an AFM interceptor, it adds or subracts a small amount of voltage and tells the factoy ecu this, so that you can tune the mixture a little at each load point I'm pretty sure that you can't put a MAP sensor or anything else, to by-pass the AFM, since it is requiring an AFM signal, and the two aren't in a proportional relationship (ie - not compatible) otherwise you could run a haltech or microtech in piggyback with the factory ecu, so that you have the new ecu controlling fuelling and spark and the factory ecu controls the idle and air con etc - if cops look in kick panel it shows std ecu, but factory ecu only controlling the basics they're all good though, just depends on whichever one you want to have also I think s-afc's are 512 bux from nengun, but can't be bothered looking as 56k dial up is pissing me off
  6. One of the guys in silwa tried to get insurance too, this was the reply they received "Thankyou for using the RAC online facility. We have been advised by our Underwriting department that effective immediately, we will not be able to issue quotes or policies on certain imported vehicles, popular sports models which appear below; Nissan Silvia Nissan Skyline Nissan 180SX Nissan 200SX Nissan 300ZX Toyota Soarer Toyota Supra Toyota MR2 This is being done while we conduct a review of coverage for these particular vehicles. In many instances, when one of the above vehicles has an accident, there can be a great difficulty in locating parts , or that the cost of these parts is making the insurance premiums rise to unreasonable levels. Please be aware that this will not affect any policyholder currently insured with one of the above vehicles - those policies will continue with full coverage as per the policy. Also any variants of the above vehicles that are not imported are not being removed. There are no immediate plans to increase the premiums on existing policies. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me" I'm assuming that they mean ALL Skylines???????? I know I've been eliminated anyway, that's for sure :uh-huh:
  7. stuff that!! I want to know what happened to the saying 'Innocent till proven guilty'!!!! that SUCKS!!! sorry to hear that pva
  8. Speed camera revenues in WA earlier this year/last year actually went to curing some spinal chord problem, and doctors are now able to operate on the spinal chord (therefore decreasing chances of people becoming paraplegic etc etc) After I discovered that I was less anti-Multanova, but after talking about hiding them...that's just rediculous! The fact that they put some stoopid sign out doesn't mean it's not hidden, as they don't always put those in a very obvious location :burnout: I don't think that I will tamper with the cameras directly (since they cost a hell of a lot more than I'm worth) but instead I'm gonna make up a fluorescent sign saying "YOU ARE ABOUT TO GO THROUGH A SPEED CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!" and put it about 100m up the road from the camera :shake: anyone know the charges for getting caught? otherwsie I'll just resort to throwing a claw hammer out the window of my car and drag it off with me :uh-huh: The bad thing that's happening in UK though - they've increased police handheld radars and I think they've increased the fines too Also - you can blame our premier of WA for this as he told Tony Blair how well the police hand-helds were doing here, so they did the same there
  9. Well I don't mind about that, as they can only bust you at the time of doing it yeah they may have a crapper attitude to you when they next pull you over, but if you have a bodykit and all this other stuff your car will stand out anyway and they are pretty wary of car models etc (Jimih was talking to a policewoman after she pulled him over and she happened to say she had seen a rodeo ute - described it perfectly, as james worked out it was one of his mates) but if you drive like a dick then sukd in if you get caught anyway :burnout: regarding theives: nice alarm put away in locked up garage and sleep next to a 12-gauge :uh-huh: I like personalised plates, but it's some reasons that put me off of them, like rumors etc
  10. Nah I haven't crashed, just offering a subjective opinion on custom number plates - if you're thinking of getting one, DON'T!! Last night at work this regular rice-boy rocks up and starts asking me if I've ever seen and dragged a red GSR before. He asked coz he's looking at trading in his cosmetic performance for something a bit more tangible, and looked at this GSR for sale (thus where he heard the story) So anyway I said "noooope" coz I haven't ever dragged any, and he goes "oh, I asked this guy about the performance of it, and he streamed off a few cars he's successfully dragged and one of them was a dark silvia, license plate PSIKO" ..................... :hellpisse I was thinking to myself before I got the plates that this might happen, and lo and behold it has. Makes me wonder how many other hot sh*t Tom Cruise mofos are out there saying the same stuff bout whosever cars Just interested to see if anyone else has ever heard similar stuff referring to their cars..? Needless to say I will be out all this weekend, weather permitting, hunting down red gsr's bitch
