  1. rob, as said you'll need to do some suspension, then maybe not try and get your time by going sideways down the track and I'm pretty certain (from the skylines that I've seen down there) you'll need a couple more mods to get your 13 hehehe, 13.7 is outta da question :burnout: happy birthday by the way
  2. I didn't think rac still insure imports..?? also, it wasn't in the city - it was out in woop woop round the corner from your house jk
  3. I know I'm going to regret this in the long-run, but anyway first try - Young and Cool (wtf) Base Premium: $2894.47 FSL: $28.94 GST: $292.34 Stamp Duty: $257.26 Our Fee: $49.50 GST for Fee: $4.95 Total Premium $3527.46 or $324.82 per month bye bye next try...
  4. is gradenko the one just above the bonnet? with the full-on beard? j/k mate haha, I wish! I missed the bikini contest completely!! nah it's some other guys site that I saw the link for lucky I wasn't there though, otherwise I'd be the one standing there constantly going  :boobies2: :boobies2: :uh-huh:
  5. justin: download that DivX 5.02 or whichever it was, from the link posted earlier mine went slowly, but yours should be fine
  6. this guy must have had the premium bodykit then..?? how were all the terries there! every driver I saw (apart from the s2000 that was too low) was a terry tuff guy!?
  7. I agree that track/drags is where it counts but I also think a good dyno shootout is well worth the effort, since they do split it down to catagories so each car is fairly comparative (apart from lil R Rated cars) and is all fair was the yellow R33 a Fibrevisdion effort or something?? Coz I was standing behind the dude from fb and when they go 322bhp he got all happy and giddy, and he and that guy with the s14 started congratulating each other..!? I didn't think they tuned?? Hence Fibrevision?? Or am I just f*kn stupid?? ...don't say anything actually
  8. and while kym's keeping us in suspense... http://files.franzonline.net/images/2002PerthAutoShow/
  9. and the important lesson was: must get better and try corner again  sorry mate
  10. u make ur way across to the casino after/during your drinks??
  11. gradenko: yeah I downloaded the divx 5.02 or whatever it was, but it was still slow - not sure if it's because I have a crap video card or something..? oh well, I got the idea
  12. rob: it won't happen nah but seriously, it's like I said - the damage that would be caused wouldn't amount to what I'd have to pay in insurance (from past experience) I know past experience doesn't count for much since ANYTHING can happen, but if I hit someone yes, I will pay for their damage and mine, obviously. But if you ask for it, you're gonna get it...so I don't exactly go around every corner sliding it out (no relationship or aiming at boostzor). shit does happen, and currently if I want insurance (now that RAC have withdrawn their efforts for insuring new people for imports) I'm looking at 3,900 from sgio (who can kiss my ****)
  13. What explanation for it did you give the insurance company then??? it might not show your plates, but it has some pretty good shots of you expaining what happened to your car haha I don't do insurance - I figure that I won't be doing 2 1/2 thou worth of damage to my car every year, so cheaper not to have any
  14. haha, what are friends for my vid is in super-slow mode for some reason but I get extra juicey footage of it just kidding mate my repairs took a month to do, so 2 weeks is pretty bloody good!!
  15. ah cheers damn that wasn't good at all - it's all fixed now I take it? not a pretty sight!
  16. ouuuuuuccccch that sounded bad!!!!!!!! is it just me or is the vid not working?? I wanted to see it but can only listen to it..(?) shit, sorry to hear that!
  17. angry beaver how old are the speakers?
  18. I've been there when it's happened, but the number of times you've blown it, I'd say james has been there for at least one of them! cautionary note to everyone: don't buy bose amps
  19. note that if you don't connect the probes earth lead to a proper earth (bare metal - can use the ignition slot for the keys if nowhere else), then you will blow a fuse or two (hoping you have a fuse backing it up!)
  20. hahahahahahah shouldn't that be in the jokes section!? what a burglar
  21. I don't believe in any curse so I'm keen to organise a cruise, but you'll have to wait for my specialty until I've finished my uni assignments
  22. sorry - wrong person re crash how embarrassing
  23. as far as I know it's against forum rules to publically write off a company (has to be done by pm) don't mean anything by this (I'm no thread-captain), and if I'm wrong then sorry, just trying to keep you out of trouble with the moderators that's all can't remember if it was you or not fabian, but did you sort out that problem between you and rach about who crashed into who from a couple of months back..? :burnout:
  24. I can vouch for that! Autoclutch were so good!! And CHEAP!!!! 580 bux to sort out everything works a treat
  25. unichips are crap nuff said it depends on what you've done to your car osc@r, which should determine what you need and whether you intend on doing anymore modding after the chip if you are still doing other stuff, then reprogramming your existing ecu (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but that will only remain set to how it was when you had it reprogrammed. That is, if you do additional things to your car it will require retuning, and will cost another few hundred bux. But for up to 500 dollars for an s-afc (which can be tuned at any time) I'd say that that would be well worth it (if you don't want a whole new ecu) sory if it doesn't make much sense, getting tired!!
