just spotted a blue stagea at my work. (city dismantlers complex) drove past as i was sittin on the bonnet of my c33 laurel haha. looks exchanged.

ah cool cool. yeah im just gonna try find some gtr seats i think. these seats that i was tryin to figure out are wrx seats and deffinately wont fit. spewing coz they were cheap as hell. and cheers man

Cheers mate. i try to keep it up to date with as little rubbish as possible haha. coz lets face it.. all you guys really wonna see is shinny new bits and lots of money spent. dont we all haha.. i found out last night that these seats are actually out of a wrx. how ever the rails to very similar and worst case i believe wrx seats are recaro yes? so in theory i could just bolt them up to my c33 recaro rails.. will find out later today anyways.

hey guys, ive been offered a pair of gtr front seats at a very good price. now im just wonderin will they lower the stock seating position at all? i mean the laurel seats are wicked comfy and all but i kinda want somethin a bit more supportive and also feel that the seatin position is to high. im only 5"8' and my head just about hits the roof. would running gtr seats lower me at all? i have a pair of recaro rails as i was plannin on runny recaros but i missed out on the pair i was gonna buy and havent been able to find another set the same for less then $1500 and really cbf spending that much money on a pair of seats haha. would rather spend that on go fast bits.

i believe its running the standard c33 ecu ive not changed it and dont have anythin to say that its been changed previously. cheers found the paint code... what about the paint code for the grey bits? haha

ok finally stopped being slack and did a bit to the car. turns out yes i have the blue plug r32 ecu style. i plumed up the cam cover breather that had been venting to atmo since i put the alloy intake pipe on in a hope that it might have been the cause of my hesitation. no success then i adjusted the tps - no success fiddled with the plug on the ecu - no success they were basically the three things i could come up with from sifting through threads on here.. unfortunately no result. how ever it does seem to idle alot better.

ok guys i need your opinion. i want to get my bars painted and a few bits touched up on the laurel right... now im just thinkin about gettin the grey bits painted black. so the car would be just solid black instead of some weird two tone spec.. what do you guys think? also does anyone know what is or where i could find the paint code for this car? cheers

r32 ecu plugs in??? i thought they had different plugs? haha. hmmm yeah mine hunts fairly badly from time to time on idle. so you are runnin an r32 ecu yeah? yeah mainly scrubbin on rear bar i believe. just not keen on cuttin it up.

finally fitted up the eurolines today and along with it my adjustable traction and camber arms unfortunately i had to raise the car up to fit them, and it looks like itll have to go up abit higher still scrubs slightly over bumps and fairly badly when Im turning... f**kin hicas!! gotta get a lock bar asap. will get some better pictures tomorrow when Ive washed it and got more light to play with.

not sure on the ecu. im assuming its just the standard one. Ive not taken the kick panel off as of yet.

hey got a question for all you rb20 guys out there.. My laurel (and my coupe did it to for that matter) seems to have a slight hesitation. i did some reading yesturday and found that most people seem to think its the cold start doin its rich and retard thing. how ever this mornin i let my car idle for about 20 mins and made sure it was at full operatin temp before i even backed outta the drive way and it still did it. basically what it is is driving along in any gear just cruising. say the revs are bein held at 2500 rpm. constant throttle imput. vac/boost gauge readyin at between 15-20 in the vac side. all of a sudden exhaust not changes (gets deeper) vac gauge goes closer to neutral manifold pressure ie between 5-10 in the vac and the car seems to lose power. as if its been put under some sort of strain. if i keep my throttle at the same point itll go away after anywhere from 5-45 seconds sometimes it just doesnt unless i put my foot down. now when i had my r31 coupe id replaced just about every electrical thing i could afm cas ignitor converted to au falcon coil and leads had the ecu nistuned tps aac coolant temp sensor o2 sensor had it tuned about 5 times and never found it. never once outta the 5 times i had it on the dyno did it ever present the problem to the guy on the dyno (for reference i have the car tuned at boostworx by shaun) anyone got any ideas.

oh i fitted up my late model tail lights and rear garnish yesturday... f**k they are a prick to do. they literally do not fit.... and the wiring is different.

thats what i thought. but its definately original turbo. it has had a minor front ender before. old owner collected a roo. hence the different colour head lights.
