  1. Eiji knows him though. Met him at the Masturi, but as I'm bad with names can't remember it right now.
  2. Yep that was way more fun than I thought it would be. I think I got the fastest silvia award, being the only one there and all! Defiantly in on the next one. Thanks for running it!
  3. Thanks! See you tomorrow then. I'll send my form through by fax now. I'll also bring a copy with me incase its missed.
  4. So lets say I want to enter. I can fill out the form and fax is etc, but what about payment?? Even if I transfer it first thing tomorrow chances are it won't appear in your account by the end of the day. Cash on the day ok???
  5. Hey guys, Any chance of entering on the day? Only just remembered about it now. I've already got CAMS etc Thanks
  6. 8:30 might be a bit early? Anyway, will be there tonight at some stage
  7. Drive. Thats what we did. I'm from Canberra so have a 2.5 hour head start, but its doable. Once we set off at 3:30am on saturday and were at the track by 12pm after checking in at the hotel. Its much better to head in the day before though, otherwise your stuffed when you get there. We ended up spending just around 1100 each for four of us all included, plus fuel to get there and back. Thats grandstand seating obviously.
  8. I'll be there, for a bit at least. Still no Nissan but
  9. I bet noone parks up on the second level too. I'm as northside as you can get but I'll still head to woden if thats where people are. Its a good photo, I love my little red beast
  10. Won't be there tonight as I'm heading to syd early tomorrow to pick up wheels
  11. They indicated it was a 100% mechanical setup so thats probably why. I wonder what they use to move the actuator that adjusts compression. That is one awesome technology. Now if they can make it strong enough to handle some real power!
  12. Is the knock sensor attached to the block with the right torque setting?? This is very important as it puts a set amount of preload on the sensor.
  13. No need to replace the pistons unless they are damaged. You just need new rings and bearings (Crank journal and big end), new oil seals for either end of the crank and gaskets all round. Do the valve stem seals in the head while your at it too, plus the oil pump and water pump. I've only done an SR20, and I would put aside $3000 for a good rebuild with OEM replacement parts (SRs have a chain which costs a lot to replace). Expect more if there are any unexpected discoveries. Don't really know the costs for an RB though, could be different.
