  1. its a 1992 Pulsar Ti. I might get it pulled out today and have a look. Any suggestions for testing whether its the sender or gauge failing?
  2. hey guys, The mrs has a cheap little pulsar ti which has developed an issue with the fuel gauge. For some reason its as if the gauge only registers as full, half or empty, if it has between 1/2-full the gauge will sit at half til the fuel level drops below half a tank, then the gauge will drop down to empty. Sometimes it will just stay at empty, then next time you turn the car on say half a tank. I thought it could possibly be a bad wire somewhere but I am not too sure where to start or where to look. I don't wanna go pulling the cradle out of the tank or whatever is required if I don't have to.. Anyone have any ideas? Monitoring the odometer is getting annoying!
  3. the email pre-dates owning this car lol. derives from thinking im an awesome flamin mongrel back in high school. thanks for the offer on the skyline, but not what im after at the moment.
  4. bump. will take $9,500 FIRM without soundsystem. need the cash.
  5. Open to offers, heres a few more of interior.
  6. Make and Model: 1999 GC8 WRX Model Year: 1999 Registration: BQ50FO Car Condition: Road Worthy/ Registered Location: Wollongong Price: 11,000 ONO Contact details: 0411969511, [email protected] Personal Sale: Yes Read the rules: Yes Pictures: Included So I am looking at selling my WRX. Not because I want to, but living conditions have changed recently and I cannot afford to keep her at this point in time. May consider swaps but prefer to sell. I bought the car back in February from a bloke in victoria, I have since then had it passed in NSW and now has NSW rego until May 2013. Cosmetically has a few scratches, stone chips and a few little car park dings. The WRX has 187,000 on the odometer, however was rebuilt with forged pistons and rods around 20,000 km ago, have receipts for rebuild by a shop called "Pro-tek" in melbourne. As for mods it has the following: - Front Mount Intercooler - Turbosmart Supersonic BOV - VF34 turbo - 770cc Injectors - Walbro Fuel Pump - Microtech LT10 ecu currently tuned for 196kw @ 19psi. I was planning to get it retuned as I think a few parts could be a bit better fine tuned but I just havent had the money to do it. - Drift pod - Turbo back exhaust - STI 5 speed gearbox, diff and drive shafts. - Lowered on Pedders shocks and Kings Springs - Turbosmart Eboost Street (Electronic Boost Control) - Radiator only 6 months old Also has generic things like Keypad Alarm (as well as immobiliser/button alarm), Boost Gauge etc. I recently replaced the Fuel Filter, Thermostat and all exhaust gaskets from the Headers to the Dump Pipe as well, with Grimmspeed gaskets and thermostat. Brand new turbosmart 3 port boost solenoid. I thought the old one was cactus so I bought a new one, turned out the wire that goes from the eboost to the solenoid had come off causing it to run on spring pressure. It does have a tiny boost leak which starts to leak around 16-19psi. I think its probably somewhere in the intercooler piping or the bov but as you can guess, I havent had the money to get it looked at. I don't drive it that hard on a daily basis so I barely notice the leak is there. Also has a decent soundsystem in it, but could use some better front speakers. Consists of: - Pioneer double din head deck (dvd/mp3/bluetooth etc) - Kicker Splits in the front - Alpine Type R 6.5 inch speakers in the rear - Alpine 600 watt 4 channel amp - 2 x Kicker comp 10 subs - Kicker 300 watt mono amp I would be willing to take some cash off the sale without the soundsystem as I have a normal cd player I can put in etc. Looking to try and get $11,000 ono.
  7. Still have the kings "low" springs for the front of an R33 and the Silver R33 tail lights in good condition. Both are pickup from wollongong, make an offer!!! just want them out of my place.
  8. Hey dude, thanks for the offer but I'm a little more interested in a cash sale. Need money for moving out! I would perhaps consider a swap for an el cheapo car (as in VERy cheap) and cash my way.
  9. Name of Item: Suzuki GSX-R 600 Condition: Used Location: Warilla Price: $3500 Contact details: 0411969511 Read the rules: Yes Personal Sale: Yes Pictures: Included ‎99 model GSX-R 600 for sale. Very good condition. -55,000 km's. -2 weeks rego but I will put 6 months on if i get what I am looking for. -Needs a new clutch, still rideable just clutch is starting to grab when releasing. -Metzler tyres front and rear. -yoshimura rs3 exhaust, sounds very good. Only bad things are a dint in the left hand side of the tank, was like that from previous owner and the clutch. everything else is good. also comes with pillion seat if you want to ride 2 up. Very nice bike to ride, very quick for a 600. $3500, located in warilla.
  10. Wouldn't be too concerned about price dude, they are just getting harder and harder to sell. I had a pretty stock R33 that I sold at the start of the year. Didn't own it for very long, but was in good condition, very clean and straight, tried to sell it for about 3 months and ended up letting it go for $6,500. Even at that price didn't receive too much attention. There's always a couple of people that are willing to let them go cheap as chips, and that's what 75% of people are expecting now. Just be patient, and good luck with the sale.
