  1. I can't help myself - not a lot of "understeer of fail" chat going on here at the minute, guys ..... when is the R36 coming? (I've never been booted off a forum yet..... )
  2. We pulled out on Monday after working our rs off. We are upgrading to the latest spec DSG TTRS and that involved the latest ecu. (it been a massive job!) We had the car running but struck an ecu issue that needed some programming gear from OS. (Audi trying to stop us messing with the tune....) We couldn't get it in time. But yes Blaise, we would be licking our lips in those conditions. We could have under steered of failed our way around those hills.
  3. I believe my friends, THAT is a Datsun doing a text book "under steer of fail"
  4. Can anyone recall any crash in Tarmac Rallying over 200kph? I started in 2004 and did at least 3 rallys a year, and I can't recall a crash over 200kph. So if it ain't broke, don't fix it! It's up there with te 1kg of kitty litter we carry in the car - seriously - what is tat all about? Another knee jerk solution to a problem that doesn't exist. I'm buggered if I'm walking back up the road "feeding the chickens" while Whitey flogs around the corner and cleans me up!
  5. Blaise, I'm not sure about you, but a 200kph speed limit? That's not racing in my world. I'm told over 20 speeding penalties were handed out to competitors (2 min penalty!) - fair dinkum guys!
  6. Good news - the Register Admin accepted my answer to the Nissan question! So, you clowns - I'm here to police some of this nissan rice-trash, so tighten up your blow off valves. Let's get started:Understeer of Fail - Very bucking funny. When I read this I had to hold on to my sides just to stop them splitting. It reminded me of when I nearly Understeered of Failed my way right up the back of certain pink GTR 35 on the Sideling in TT11. If that's what happens when you get oversteer - I'm sticking with my snow plough rice boys!
