  1. Have 2 sets if your still chasing,In w.a btw
  2. its your choice and your money at the end of the day but i wouldnt,Id just go td06 with supporting mods and you will have a 250+rwkw
  3. 20 Getting tuned a week sat'day so hopefully can post up dyno chart after..Im aiming for reliable 230-240rwkw and aptly doesnt look like that figure is a dream
  4. Fark that a good price for a 20.... but mate at the end of the day its ur choice. I too a few weeks ago i was coming from same situation u r and i stayed true to the 20.I would stick with the rb20 because they arent as shit as people say they are and with a good setup and tune they can be a f**king weapon,u can boost the f**k out of em because of there lower compression and if u take care of it it will last you a long time
  5. Duno if this helps but my mate just got a 34 4 door auto here in wa last week for 12k, came with full zorst, pod and bleeder..ive seen a few more here but manuals go for around 3-4k more depending on what they have on em..
  6. got one u can have for free, only prob is im in w.a
  7. cccccccccant wait for adgp to roll into perth this month.....kirrrraa...
  8. Everyone has their own two cents but as your only gonna be just starting out id say you would need the practise more then anything else and the following til you are more experienced and wana go bigger from there..: Lsd - or shim stocko diff fmic - for that extra boost you will more then likely need to run some kinda of aftermarket zorst systrem -u can get cheap 3inch if you look around Coilovers- again there is enough good 2nd hand sets around good set of brake pads Im sure there will be others saying you need this or that but really you only need the basics till you have track time under your belt and then when you feel you can go bigger then u'd wana go upgrading engine, clutch, brakes, turbo, suspension parts-ie arms, rods etc etc... At the end of the day its you heading out there doing it so just feel what's right for you.. Goodluck
  9. ffffffark thats quick....im sure you guys can crack the record
  10. Cheers roy and yeh i think it shall be killa, just gotta wait for the install and tune now to see how she goes.. goodluck with the car and i will be interested to see how the cams go.
  11. Was actually looking for something else when i came across this thread....Larv the car Roy and jjjjjesus you have some patience mate...anyway ive been a RB20 fan for years now and after a hard year of working llllong long hours and saving alot my (r32 4 door) goes into a performance workshop tmrw for a replacement engine (20 of course) and a retune with the following goodies - gtr injectors and resistor pack off of a 2004 nur spec gtr, Z32 air flow meter, apexi power fc, cam gears,FMIC,Bleed valve (4 now), 3inch zorst all the way with 4 inch tip, orc clutch and lightened flywheel, bosch 044 fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and a genuine td05/20g turbo with turbosmart ultra gate and screamer ..I know that the td06 is a better turbo at top end but i chose to sacrifice top end for less lag and more fun sooner rather then the 700rpm to 1000 rpm later..i do have a question tho in regards to cams, i was intending to get tomei pon cams but after reading the whole 20odd page killa read im sorta in 2 minds now as if they will be worth it..? any ideas? Cheers mate
