  4. Ill put in my vote for Microtech Ive been running an LT-8s in my R32 (RB25) for about 18months and haven't had a problem. Power is good, economy isnt bad, Its not awesome but no where enar as shit as people make it out to be. Only dis advantage really is the fact that it isnt plug and play, but ocne its in who cares
  5. A fluttering bov is a bov that does open... Vac connected propperly? Ill let you know how i go with mine.. Sinista: Yer, i think thats what im gonna have to do. So no one knows where one can be bought?
  6. The bov you mean? No its a genuine GReddy Type-RS. might draw up a pic of the pictured adapter in the original post and take it to a few places see if i can get it made up.. cant cost much. single block of steel with a big hole in the middle and 4 drilled holes, No bigger than about 80x60x10mm
  7. Hey guys, Just bought my self a nice new GReddy Type RS Bov... But it doesnt come with an adapter, which at the time didnt bother me... But ive just been down to autobarn, and they reckon you can either buy the bov by itself, or the bov in a kit with the adapter, but you cant buy the adapter by itself. which sounds strange. They then try to sell me some universal autotechnica adapter saying I would have to use this, and they could make up a flange to fit onto the bov, which i could then connect to the adapter with a peice of silicon hose. Surely there is a better way? I just need something like (extremely poorly) pictured here, which is a far superior solution than the one autobarn suggest. Hopefully someone can help... Thanks all
  8. hmm. Im looking at getting a 1.5way in the not too distant future. maybe it will hold out untill then
  9. I seem to have quite a bit of backlash in my diff... Its a tight tiff in terms of LSD though. very very rarely spins one. coming out of drive ways etc. will often chirp the inside wheel.. But when cruising along. there seems to be a big gap between positive and negative load on the diff. theres a bit of a clunk when going between on and off throttle. which i believe is backlash? defaintely seems to be my diff and not my gearbox. Would shimming help this? Thanks
  10. mine does that too. i dont mind. its like a reminded not to go too fast when its cold after about 1 or 2 minutes of driving. its completely fine.
  11. Im considering doing the same on my 32... Thinking of just going with most of the D-Project stuff offered in the business trader section with free installation in melbourne.
  12. Yeh. they look nice. the ones i have at the moment have slots rather than holes for the stud to go through. so once they are on they move around a fair bit... did my best to center them before tightning the wheel.. Ill have to look into getting some longer studs and a self centering spacer for mine... although either way its still illegal i believe.

    Dyno Tune Asapish

i have only had my car tuned the once and that was down at maztech in preston... the tune was great. car has been very reliable since.. but ehy are always really busy. so you need to book well in advance and expect them to have you car for a few days... but as far as there work goes. cant really say anything negative about them I wouldnt mind taking my car down again to see if the tune needs adjusting.. seems to be going through a bit more petrol these days... have heard good things about EFI Dynamics in lilydale.. anyone been there?
  14. Just finished last year. Defiantely used to see quite a few nice imports around the uni.. i have a stock (looking ) black 32...
  15. thats like saying a car would have to be very good for $10,000 cos you can get a car for $1000 if you know where to look.. my 2c. Sorry. GL with the sale.
  16. I had a mate who had a set of these on his S14... very similar to G-Max wheels. but i dont think thats what they are I will try and find out..
  17. 10mm bolt ons? on slip ons? i wouldnt want to go any bigger than what i have if they were slip on.. are there disadvantages in running a spacer that is bigger than required. the fact that an 8mm spacer fits makes me not want to go any bigger... where abotus did you get them made up.. not that it really matters considering your in brisbane.. anyone know of anywhere that could make some up in melbourne? Cheers
  18. ^^^ theres a 4-door r32 pics thread. try there
  19. I put a set of GTR cams in my Series 2 rb25. Motor didnt like it all. spent heaps of time on the dyno trying to get it right.. but couldnt make any power... max power made was like 230hp... threw the stock cams back in and it was heaps better... Didnt do anything about eh VCT.. just put the cams in to see if they worked. as there was all this hype about how good they were going in RB20's So im not sure whether there are things you can do to make them work.. but all i did was prove they are not a direct replacement
  20. Well after all that, ive just put some new wheels on my car anyhow.... They are a 2 piece Work wheel. 18x8 and 9. not sure of the model. they are a dished bbs mesh style wheel.. thinking about getting the centres coated black. but not sure yet... Looking forward to seeing some pics of powder coated wheels. GL with it
  21. well with the nissan shaved off and an 8mm spacer. it fits.. so a 15mm spacer will probably be too big...
