  1. Sounds perfect man.Lag is good.
  2. Because he read it on a forum and saw her dyno sheet.
  3. https://youtu.be/Ye9ctbLqEq0
  4. When I get the TO4Z tuned I will put it up for shits and giggles. Hopefully I have nothing till 4000 and then it goes mental. Thats whats important to me regardless of the peak power figure. And I also need to block off the BOV as it doesn't dose enough at the moment.
  5. Nothing to show. my -5 s setup was like any other -5 350kw dyno graph, nothing special, nothing different. TBH I have a real issue with dyno graphs anyway as dynos are basically tuning tools and the graphs only give info on wot in one gear, which really has no indication on how they perform in real world day to day driving. For what's it worth I pulled 123 mph with a f**ked transfer case and a slipping clutch and a 60ft of 2.8s, the power is there or there abouts. The best dyno I know of is sitting my arse in the seat and experiencing the car not looking at some wot graph.
  6. My setup is worlds away from your old setup Pete, just remember that. I will post up a video of my daily duties one day so you can understand it better, probably the easiest way.
  7. Are you sure its not the accessory belts or bearings of the alternator, power steering or air con pullies. If you think it might be just take a belt off at a time and see.
  8. Thanks man, thats the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me....... Does that mean we're mates?
  9. Point is, just because someone has a preference to a responsive set up, stroker, 30 whatever doesn't mean its any better for daily duties than another less responsive one. Its just a preference. So all this bullshit about revving the f**k out of 26 to keep up with traffic and crap is just bullshit. IMO based on driving mine daily for the last 4 years is having it off boost in traffic is a blessing and my setup is much nicer to drive that my clubby was and the few ford turbos I have driven. IN MY HONEST OPINION RESPONSIVE SETUPS SUCK MASSIVE ROD! Why? because I don't like them, but not to say they are not good for someone that prefers them, but they are no more streetable than a less responsive one. If I had close to stock response and 350-450wkw I would beat some tiidas and prius's and then I would push it off a cliff and start again. Moral of the story find out what you like and build it.
  10. Depends if you want to be a hero at every set of lights, fark you better beat those corollas. As I said, I have never had problem keeping up with traffic with 0 manifold pressure, and at atm I am running mine in with a weak tune and 5k limited, again with no issues. But then again I don't like being a street hero when I am taking the kids to school or going to work.
  11. Yeah go get them Pete. Give those Prius's and Tiida's heaps.. Last time I checked in peak hour maximum speed is 60 km/hr if your lucky. Must be so good to be on boost.
  12. Ha ha you guys If you don't want this Buy a V8
  13. Ha ha ha. You can't pretend to have lag. Not possible. Its like pretending to still have a Gtr thoroughbred when you but a VL block in it. :D:D:D
  14. They were all autos with hi stalls in them. What's the point anyway. Bake the tires.... Wow.... Bring a sleeping bag next time
  15. Yeah unimpressive due to the linear power delivery, each to their own I suppose.
  16. Better still is to drive/experience as many setups as you can and find what YOU like.
  17. And they still get ripped by a 350kw GTR because in street trim they are slow. I was looking at doing FI on my clubby and went for a drive in a few both SCed anf TCed and realised it was a fkn waste of time.
  18. :D:D:D:D:D
  19. In general turbo car will never drive like an NA car due to one main difference, the compression ratio. But then you have the diffence in head design, cam specs and exhaust design. However similar limitations exist when chasing power, as in cam selection, and modifying the above mentioned will all compromise low end torque and will drastically compromise drivability on the street. All things being equal you can have a much better behaved FI car than an NA car with similar power levels.
  20. Ha ha. U guys have got real problems
  21. That's why I went single... So easy to change.
  22. Nah not joking. If everyone had the same opinions and likes and dislikes the world would be pretty boring. We obviously have different ideas on what the best Gtr setup is. But hey we are lucky because if we don't like what we have down the track, we just change the turbo and we have a different driving experience with the same awesome car. We are pretty privileged I say.
