  1. 11.9@120mph Have to have a hard look over the car on the weekend im missing about 7-8mph.
  2. Hope the above works it's me vs Theo on my last run.
  3. I think I raced one of you guys on my last pass before retiring with a blow radiator hose(maroon r32GTR). Grats on the times and very beautiful cars.
  4. Only one way to find out I guess. If I can get my 60 footers into the 1.6s I will be well on my way.
  5. I think it will do mid to low 11s eventually just need to keep trying 120mph is good for a 11.2ish. Car does feel a little down on power since the tune just need to get a boost gauge and see what's going on.
  6. Well had a few more runs last night. Started the night off with an 11.9@120mph but after that a few cars had breakages and the racing was stopped for a while. I got my second pass after the burn out comp and the track was like an ice rink. Spun through 1st gear followed by 2nd and ran a 12.4@120mph. Could not get traction for the rest of the night so it was more low 12s. 60 footer this week was worse than last week 1.72 compared to 1.89 on the best pass. Might need to finally play with the pressures next time. Eat_me nah engine is stock besides cams and cam gears. Im surprised the car only traps 120mph to be honest, it is full weight maybe more with all the extra bracing through the chassis but i was expecting more like 125mph traps.
  7. Yeah must admit it was crap driving on my part. 12.2 was the first pass with a 100mph trap I was just trying out the launch only gave it till 3rd gear then coasted through the traps. The rest of the night was running mid 12s with constant miss shifts or bogged launches called it a night after I launched off rev limit and second gear was stuck at 4k with massive hesitation. Managed a 120mph trap on one of the passes with a horrible 2.0 60'. Going back tonight will repost what I ran in the morning.
  8. Yeah 12.2 was my first and best run of the night trying my launch technique coasting after 3rd gear. 1.7 60 footers was the best i could do. Need to play with tire pressures next and try and get down to 1.6. Eat_me nice car mate sorry I was a bit out of it had a really bad case of food poisoning and just wasn't feeling up to it.
  9. Meh I like it and think it looks nice on the car and that's what it's all about right? I don't see how it's a wanker number plate.
  10. Could be electro plated in silver then anodized.
  11. Yeah I tried my name for lolz and it was taken so I was just trying different things and I couldn't believe it was available I had to triple check
  12. Really nice looking plates Bob. With mine I only had to use a rubber mallet to slightly smack in the sides of the plate and they just barely fit in the rear. For the front I just made up a bracket to bring them forward a little. I wanted to avoid having to cut them so I can refit them to a Honda civic one day
  13. Always a fun and rewarding experience fixing up a car to get it just the way you like. And nice number plates Bob what colour and type did you end up going with ? I recently got new plates for my 32 as well i find they look fantastic with the overall colour of the car.
  14. Yep already emailed Chris hopefully he can help out. Thanks for the recommendation guys.
  15. Been thinking about what to do with my valve covers on the R32 they don't look as bad as some examples but i still want to freshen them up a little. Was thinking of going crackle black but came across this Where about in Sydney can i get this done as i have heard terrible things about dipped-parts.com. Or does anyone else have any ideas about what to do with the valve covers ?

  17. I was involved. All good everyone has their pet peeves.
  18. I'm sorry to have offended. I had no idea you were so passionate about this issue that you would lash out at a complete stranger. Again sorry to you and any i offended with my comment.
  19. Wow this is still going? Let it go not worth the keystrokes. And Tomic's gf needs a nose job.
  20. Yeah you make a fair point. But do you think that better driver education and training would accomplish the desired result infinitely better than ad hoc car restrictions that aren't even uniform Australia wide? The attitude problem with certain people cant be solved with a bandage solution designed to evoke an emotional response from the voter base. It needs to be attacked at the root of the issue. And in general i see a lot of poor/dangerous driving from all sorts, young/old/male/female. If some one is irresponsible / a poor driver when on their Ps/Ls that needs to be addressed early this has nothing to do with what car they drive. Graduating a 3 years Ps system is no guarantee of instant maturity or instant driving ability the next day, when the can legally go out and buy whatever they want.
  21. Why Are you positively annoyed friend?? Nothing illegal about it if he chooses to live abroad since he works internationally. If the authorities have an issue they can always change the laws to close loopholes. im not sure how much time he spends here at all since most tournaments are OS besides what the hopman cup and the aus open? So a stunted nublett can consume alcohol go to war etc. but cant handle driving an audi Q5 or a C200 compressor (slower than an M3 but still...). OK i understand now sorry it took a while for my undeveloped brain to understand your logic and congrats on your uncanny ability to deduce my age through a computer screen. Personal insults are a great way to communicate by the way . I'm out.
  22. Sure if they can reduce the chances of young drivers having fatal crashes by restricting them to low power cars then the same should apply across the board. Oh wait that's right the government only like to target the minority with dumb laws and they don't want to risk upsetting automotive big business by banning half their lineup. So safety only matters when they keep their revenue up and largest voting group happy.....
  23. Democracy is Democracy if you don't like laws discuss and protest or vote in favour of people who will change the laws to your liking. Saying STFU or GTFO is just small minded. He has the means to bypass the laws if he so chooses that's all I am saying. Though I would love to see some long term peer reviewed papers about the affects these laws are actually having on the road toll amongst novice drivers and how it goes on to affect them when they move to an unrestricted license.
