  5. After a little more research tonight I think im heading towards a 2835ProS and aim for an easy 280kw with cams, head gasket and injectors.   6. Thanks dude. Im installing a Power FC for now using the R32 loom. Then rebuild the motor in 6-8 months with forged pistons, rods and relive the block and head. At that stage ill go for motec. Its a great insurance policy in my books.
  7. As for other mods to the car. I removed all sound deadning. Full 8 point cage to struts with side intrusion and seam welding goes in next week. As much bull crap bracing as I could find on Yahoo JP. UAS break upgrade adjustabel camber front and rear adjustable castor subframe lock kit extended steering lock kit cusco 2 way diff Tein HE coil overs Rb25 box Recaro seat Harness Custom Exedy clutch RB25, just need the right turbo kit
  8. Thanks for your input so far guys. I have been talking to some respectable tuners about this in great detail and they belive the 2530 and 2535 have to much back presure to easly run 250kw without rick of detonation, as for the gt-rs I have heard they are a bit miss matched and are prone to surging. Not trying to disagree with anyone here just telling you what I have heard so far. The 2540 has been recomended but I still love the thought of a external gate.

I am aiming for the car to be a high end drift car so I belive 300kw is about right due to the fact that the average D1 car is rated at 400ps at the wheels which equals 294kw and thats on 1100kg S13 platforms as aposed to my heavy R32 platform. So from what you have suggested the 2835 is the way to go. If a 2835 can flow an easy high 200kws with good response I can see no flors in that. Do you know what they are rated to?
  10. Hi, I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I wanted to know what turbo you guys would recomend for a RB25 that will be used for drifting. I am lookin at an external gate set up and want to make between 250 and 300 rwkw eaisly. I want to have strong mid range torque. So far these are my options. 2540 (Im thinging too small) 2835 (do people do this ive only heard of these on SR20s for drift, ie D1) 3037 (will this be too big or will the ball bearings make up for it) 3040 (didnt know they existed till recently, any thoughts) TD06-20G (I know this is a good turbo for the RB20 but waht about the 25) TD06-25G (this is the turbo im thinking of atm but I hear it doesnt come on boot till close to 5000rpm is this too lagy) RX6? (BIG bucks and I know little about these turbos) Any help would be much apreciated Thanks
  11. email replied In addition, the ecu in the car has been re mapped to make 200kw on 16psi with z32 afm. If someone is intrested in the ecu I will happly get it remapped back to stock settings. You would then have the option to get it remapped for more performance in the future.

  18. Sure you could go to greenline and buy it but one thing you didn’t mention is the tax you have to pay when it goes through customs. Green line say that their prices do not include tax and that it will be taxed as it enters the country. BD4's the Australian HSK distributor sell the kit for $4100. If that’s the best an authorized HSK dealer can do then this is a bargain. Also you have the safety of something that’s in the country and ready to go.
  19. Hi, I am building a R32 gtst drift car. It has a std RB20DET in it. I have a HKS GT 2530 on order but now im thinking of putting a GT-RS on it. Is this turbo to big ? has anyone here fitted a GT-RS on a RB20 ? Thanks
  20. Hi, I have a brand new HKS GT2530 Roller Bearing Turbo Kit with gaskets, nuts, bolts, studs. It’s a full HKS turbo kit. Still in original box. Will suit RB25DET or RB20DET. I believe it is the ultimate turbo for the RB20DET. $3500 or best offer. Selling due to change in turbo choice and increased budget. Must Sell.

This comp is open to everyone, and all entries will be raced in the same class. The winner will be showered in "glory and prizes", while the losers will be left in the gutter (hehe). Autobarn Sunbury will be supporting the day with lots of prizes and giveaway's for the drivers and the crowd. Competitor entry is $100 and spectators are $10 each, with kids under 12 FREE!!! Gates open 8am at Calder Park, drivers call Calder to prebook as entries are capped at 60 cars. Interstate entries are welcome, but we recommend you pre-book.   25. This turbo is 18 months old but was recently rebuilt 10,000k's ago. It has come off an RB20DET. It has a Sierra compresor wheel and a T3 exhaust back cut machined into standard RB20DET housings. It has produced 200rwkw on 16psi but need biger injectors to get more power.
