  1. So much love from you guys. ok so how much can you guys get a garret gtx3076r for? How much did i get ripped off? You think i got ripped off with everything on my car, i have to pay for labour as im not a mechanic. Im not the sorta person to ask mates to work on my car, all my close mates are into v8 holdens im the dark horse.
  2. You pay for what you get these days i guess.
  3. With the gt3076 they make around 330rwk on a manual. And yes they are getting the turbo in for me, i payed a deposit today. the gtx3076r is $2450 The gt3076 is $2050
  4. The workshop im sending my car too works mostly with rb engines, they have drift cars also. They have worked with alot of HG turbos, they say they cant get no where near the figures HG have posted on the net Plus the front housing on HG turbos are to big for my application as i am not running a top mounted turbo.
  5. I am running forged pistons, plan on getting mv auto to strengthen my trans and put a stall converter in..........
  6. .82 internal wastegate. Dont want the cops to have a heart attack when they pop the bonnet.........
  7. My mechanic and i have spoke about turbo choice, we are going ahead with the garret gtx3076r. Thanks for your help hypergear and thanks to any one from the skyline australia forum for helping out also.
  8. I will ring you tommorow to work out whats best for my stagea.
  9. Do you need any form of deposit? Or do i pay when i come to pick it up? Whats the bill?
  10. Hypergear do you have hypergear Billet SS2 in .82 in stock? I will be in melbourne on the 8th of september till around the 12th i think, will be popping in to see you on one of them days. We can have a chat to see whats best for my stag.
  11. Im on 3 weeks holidays soon, going to Melbourne for a few days. Might just come home with a hypergear Billet SS2 in .82, wish the stageas turbo wasn't routed otherwise i could have drove it over and got hypergear to fit and tune it for me.
  12. I will have to go through my receipts scotty to see what lph pump they put in.
  13. I heard those hyper gear turbo figures are no where near what people can get here in sa workshops, and that they won't last as long as a garret or hks turbos. As for fuel system boostworx threw in a some deatschwerks 550lph fuel pump.
  14. jaustech quoted me around 2k for a gt30/76 and $1500 for fitting and tuning droping oils and making a new hard pipe intake, and any other small things that may arise.
  15. Hey guys my high flowed standard housing turbo with gt30/76 internals has died, I am on the hunt for another turbo. What would be good for 250-350rwks and good to drive on street without to much lag? I am leaning towards a garret gtx30/76 with a 82 rear housing what are your thoughts? My engine has had a full rebuild with forged pistons eagle conrods etc etc. the engine build cost me about 11k so im hoping remac done a good job haha, so far so good. Any links to turbos would be appreciated.
  16. I have a full set of r34 gtr wheels i would like to sell, I bought them already resprayed to a alloy colour. They are 18" x 9" +30offset. Front tyres 235's will need replacing, 245 rears are not that old. Maybe 80% tread. Will post some more detailed pics up soon.
  17. I only took one photo, spewing i didn't get the front end of the volvo in properly.
  18. Too be honest i wasn't going for the stretched look to start with, I really have had no choice but too. For these rims to fit i have done what needed to be done, my next option is to get all guards rolled for some extra clearance. Further down the track i might come across a cheap pair of fronts for the rear. At the end of the day this isn't my daily, and i am happy with how it is for now. Thanks for your mixed comments and help over the thread people, footys nearly over for me so i might even turn up on a cruise one day so you can all bag me about my stretched tyres haha......
  19. Some more pics.
  20. Rears went straight on no spacers at all. they do stick out tho, i had to put 245s on rear. needed to stretch. 275s didnt give me any clearance from hitting guards. Fronts have 30mm bolt on spacers, was running 245s on front but as soon as i left tyre power every now and then i could hear them scraping. Ended up running 225s on front, they still scrape sometimes. I am gonna have to get all four guards rolled just for some extra clearance, I hate hearing them scrape my guards. Can anyone help out with a decent workshop for rolling my guards or a business? Will post some more pics tommorow before footy or after if i get a chance. Oh and for camber nothing has been touched, so unsure on answering that question 4bidn1
  21. Here are some pics,
  22. Rims are fitted, will post pics when i get home from work this arvo.
