  1. Is the manual mode switch in the stick shift or a independent box. Looked around the stick shift the micro switches for up and down seem fine but can not see anything else.
  2. Lack of info still, it's a S2 Stagea still auto. Everything auto work fine. Triptronic ( manual mode ) doesn't work. Consult only has 1 fault which will not clear. The fault is Manual mode switch
  3. Your right mate, wasn't on the ball was I. Just wanting to find the switch and fault find from there. Sorry that's was in my head on at time of 1st post Cheers Lee

  5. Plugged in the consult II 1 error code "Manual mode switch" this will not clear at all The manual shift worked fine before I pulled the engine and fully stripped and rebuilt it. Left the box in the car and only unplug from the engine, leaving all harness's wires plugs where/next to final place been. Reason for not pulling box out with engine was space plus subframe was easy to clean off with the CV grease ect covered all over it. Is this the switch Cheers Lee

  7. All drives fine in D not limp 3 gear. Triptronic not acknowledge at all, in the sense no stick over in up down no gear select or dash light status at all. Just D works fine.
  8. Any ideas what I'm missing ? I've had my neo S2 engine out and fully freshened up. Engine fires up 1st turn runs sound sweet, drives around the block a few times auto box works in D fine. Triptronic doesn't work or show up on dash display. I've checked plugs again still not working. Must of missed something but what ? Like there's no power at all. Any ideas on where to look would be greatly appreciated and then I can go bed in the rings and have some happy driving. Cheers Lee

  10. Cheers I'll take time sealing them on the rebuild. The oil had pooled up in the recess where the ball bearing is. So that is my reason for thinking is it possible to leak from them ? I've pulled out the engine to freshen up bearings gaskets,seals ect. So I'll just have to wait once I put it back in midweek to check if it's sealed.
  11. Had a Oil leak all down the head/block front. So I replaced cam seals and timing belt, checked again still oil down the front but the not 100% it's the seals is it possible that the ball bearings under the cam can leak that block the oil gallery's leak ? If these are the problem how do you fix them ?
  12. I'm all sorted mate no worries, it's what I had worked out myself. I just couldn't find info to back my findings/ideas. It was the bit where 1999 in brackets and 3 lines Japanese writing I was wondering about.

  14. It's has 3 markings same as the one replaced. Nissan supplied it from Japan in a nissan box against my chassis number Markings are like | | |
  15. Replaced my harmonic crank pulley and belt ect along with the cam and crank seals. The old crank pulley is the same nissan standard with 3 markings. | | | like this. I'm having trouble finding info on what the markings are to check against timing light. All I can find is R34 markings which has 7 markings. Is there and Stagea neo triptronic info with the correct markings settings out there ?
  16. Repaired the pipe due to the fact it was not a replacement pipe it would of been the complete rad.
  17. It's not the pipe highlighted it's the other that goes into the highlighted canister. Does anyone know where I can get one ?
  18. Got a feeling the other end of said pipe hasn't got a bolt fitting and is in to the rad. If this is so I will need to find a whole unit !!! Need to get home and stick on a ramp.
  19. It's lost gas, it's this one that returns back and down between the rad to the bottom of the air con rad.
  20. Do any other air con pipe from other Nissans fit on a S2 Stagea. Some how the air con pipe has rubbed up against the oil catch can and made a small hole. The Stagea is a little rarer here in the UK so any help/info would be very great full.
  21. Mine's a RE4 box, was just wondering if the box struggles to change up if you raise the RPM limit up. Been looking around the forum to see similar built motors what RPM cut they have. But still no wiser really.
