Hey all. as everyone no's the headlights on r33's go a yellow colour and im not to keen on restoring them but i would like to have a fiddle with them before i get a new set (backs are cracked from front bar pushing them up). has anyone ever cut the front lense of? their is the big clear lense but ive noticed under their is a frame with lenses blocking of each individual bulb so i was thinking about cutting of the clear sheild and maby silicone (neatly) the other lenses so its waterproof? would be cool if someone could post some pics or instructions on how they did it? NSFW for help

Personaly wouldent use aluminium to fasten anything unless its pop riviting something. When u tighten them up wouldent the socket (correct size) scratch the flamin mongrel out of them making them look shit?

clear coat it, but test it on a sticker or 2 to make sure the paint dont eat it or make it run

Scourer sounds abit dodge (not sure)? but their a thing called scotch tape it comes in diferent colours meaning diferent abrasive's then wax and grease it. Give it a realy good wash if u have ever used interiour cleaners as its a bitch to stick stuff to

Not to sure, that being said might look BALLA in person. What do u think about chucking some on the side skirts?

Litrely just did this the other day in my r33 gtst i cutout a square shape rounded the corners and used a fine file to bevel the edges used 2.5mm polished ally checka plate did it with a hacksaw, file, ruler and a pen, piss easy (pen marks ally perfectly) after u take the coin tray out u will notice it has a gradual slope so you can litrely jam the metal insert in and its firm as, wont fall out looks schmick ive got some off cuts sitting around so if u want to send me out a envelope with $20 and ur adress i can make a replica of mine and 1 that covers the whole thing with 4 screw holes pre drilled so you can choose what one u want to run pm me p.s i also made another pannel to cover from my cd player to the bottom of the dash gap and cut a little square out so my gps mount sits behind it and my pen style turbo timer mount on it perfect

Not realy yet, hasent realy been much of an option theirs a few things teing me down here, but it looks like im going to have to either apply for maccas or fly somewhere =/ no work sucks!
