hey guys sorri to ask but, which car would be quicker, a standard WRX or a standard R33 gtst, i saw an article the other day which said " WRX vs R33 gtst" and the guys oh shared there veiws on the question, whom i might had were all WRX lovers, said " that the WRX would win for the first 20 metres than when the R33 sees 2nd and 3rd its bye, bye WRX. Yean i think he was refering to the mesh, but what performance properties does this have? I think that the blitz air filter has steel mesh on the outside an dits only $159.95 at autobarn, and than i get trade discount, so should be bout $140.00 hopefully, also what booste is a good safe level, which wont effect the life of my motor or turbo, yet alowing a good power increase, eg; would 10pound be alright, coz i have heard that the standard turbo on an r33 can handle round 13psi and maybe evern 14 if your lucky but i wont my car to last.

yeah probably. he told be to get one thats stainless steel i asked him what does he mean buy stainless steel and he said on the outside. i bit confussed?????

Hey thanks for the reply, what did they cost you? And i was under the impression that K&n filters were good, but according to this Guy at APC they aint. I hope he is wrong, coz the K&N is cheap and so i have heard is just as good as any of the jap brans eg (hks, apexi). what other mods do u have on your R33 Mark, and what boost do u run. also what hp do you have at the wheels.

Hey all, i was wondering what spark plugs give best performance and life in an r33 gtst, also what type of air filter is best suited, they guy at APC told me to get on thats stainless steel, and the said that K&N arnt good for a skylines air flow metre. is this true, and if so what type is best suited to my application, also what plugs would u recommend? thanks

hey to all those people who r thinking about selling their skylines soon, or in the near future, hi my name is drewe and i will be in the market for either a really nice r32 skyline or decent r33 gtst skyline, the car must be manual, turob and a coupe. the other thing is that it must not have been THRASHED. so if anyone is gonna sell their car round those times, my budget is around $17000, to $17500 but if u impress me than i will have 19000 coconuts in my hands to give you. thanks, drewe

Hey i will be in the market for an R33 gtst skyline in june and i was thinking of upgrading the standard turbo, does anyone know what turbo would suti my application of around 200rwkw maybe a little more, i have heard that 300zx turbos or turbo, im not quite sure which model are alos good, some advice would be much appreciated. yeah the exhaust they quoted me would have twin ceramic coated dump pipes, and a high flow cat followd by a resinator than a good muffler, also the pipeing would be 3inch i think?

hey i wouldnt normally, but the exhaust comes with ceramic twin dump pipes, and they r the only copmany in qld that does proper mandrel bends, also i rang another exhaust shop(Lees exhausts) and they cant even do what (CES) can do and reccomended them to me. so if its true and would give such a power increase than it would be money well spent.
