  1. sorry for the dark pic, but its nearly getting there. Need to stock up on more vinyl though
  2. Just thought I would share this with you, the SAU forum. It's my house mates r33. Wrap done by myself and the owner, Steff, with plenty of help from the guys I work with. Currently done two front wings and doors, just building the courage to hit the rear wings and bumpers. All is going smooth at the moment.
  3. Speedo cable has broken on the r32, is there anywhere in Perth that sells them? or has anyone got one lying around? Can't find one anywhere, and I'm getting sick of speeding fines.
  4. I should gap down then, i'm at 1.1, but everywhere i've read since says go 0.8
  5. I'll have a look at cleaning them up, it was a couple of weeks ago and i've slept since so i can't remember how bad they are, i just know they wont sit flush with the top of the spark plugs. Thanks, I'll get back to you Good, i just didnt want to hear it was this or that that needed replacing at $$$ Yeah thats what i thought, probably from a scrapyard or something, but yeah they all test ok. Cheers for everyone's help
  6. I've no idea how many k's are on them, however the car is on 120k's and they have been replaced at some point, as they have rb25 written on the side of them in paint pen. Am i looking at general wear and tear, or have i got a problem?
  7. Yeah that looks to be whats happened. I believe they are meant to have like a dome tip, but as mine have cracked away, they are far from it. I should really have got a picture. Im worried if i get new ones for somewhere, the same will happen again. Is there a problem elsewhere?
  8. The ends of my coilpacks are damaged, i.e the carbon ends on the end of the spring, 2 Questions, 1: Whats causes this? 2: Is there anywhere i can get replacements, as i dont really have the cash to buy a new set of coilpacks. All coilpacks tested between 0.7 and 0.9 Its an rb20 gts4. Thanks in advance.
  9. fair do's, pm me if needs be
  10. i have one i'd be happy to post, although the condition isn't great. i can get a few pictures if you like?
  11. white r33 lock up trying to slow down for a speed trap, failed, and copped for a chase anyway: railway parade bassendean just outside my work (brdken)
  12. only my opinion, and im not a mechanic or fabricator etc, but i would never weld it back up. it would drive me crazy once its fixed. i'd grab a replacement and grab a couple of cans of galv spray or anti rust and tidy any bits you can up
  13. Is it possible to remove the hicas ecu, and keep the power steering? Currently i have everything standard, but i need to clear the parcel shelf so was hoping to be able to chop all the hicas components including the ecu and wiring. I'm competent enough to divert them to something/somewhere else if neccessary, whoever i really want to do away with it all together. Getting a full kit for the hicas, similar to the bycas system Going to remove the back part of the pump and loop the holes up As above, i hate the heavy steering so would like it back to normal after the work is complete. The more removed, the better. Is it just easier to lock the hicas up, scrap everything and get a power steering pump etc off of a diferent car which isnt speed sensitive? Help needed! Thanks in advance
  14. looks spot on that, bet it turns a few heads
  15. Oh wow i didnt think the brembo's and the sumi's would vary in price that much. I'm still on pom prices. Undecided now. Thanks for your help.
  16. Im not sure what the cost of a pair of brembo calipers are, but it seems false economy to buy the adapters. Surely you could sell the sumitomo's and recoup some of the expense of the brembo's. For less than $116 for the adapters. According to the link, the brembo's have a bigger piston area, and i'd imagine they are easier on the eye. Thanks for you're help GTSBoy yeah i noticed afterwards looking back on them. For some reason i thought they were AP's
  17. sorry for thread jacking, but i have a 32 gts 4 and fancy going for a brake upgrade. I'm wanting to keep the car for road use, but want to get the weight down everywhere i can. So, Floating discs for an r33 gtr: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2a15729775 What parts do i need from a 33gtr? Those(or similar) Calipers Carriers (Brackets) Pads Brake lines?(or are they the same) And would these be any heavier, bare in mind the discs should be lighter? Also will they fit under 17's Any help would be greatly appreciated For reference: Brake sizes http://www.jdmlegion.com/KnowledgeBase/Brakes/Nissan-Skyline-brake-disc-and-caliper-information-33633030-5ca2-4f69-b247-5cb9366bcaf1
  18. really good pics. will keep an eye out and have a trip out next time something like this is on
  19. I took mine to ame on bannister road, nice guys, rung me before doing bits and have given me a list of stuff that will need to be done this year. Would have had a go myself, but i have no tools/jacks/stands whatsoever so thought it would be cheaper to garage it. While on the subject, does anyone have a spare day, tools, garage and knowledge to do a hicas delete, sparkplug swap, steering wheel swap, and some other bits. Willing to help and pay
