fuel filter is good, did a ecu reset the night before the dyno run as i had to get the boost all nice and sorted, had all sorts of spiking issues.

i have a special custom "hi flow" cat

i have attached a picture of my power run, look at the drop in power from about 5500rpm to 6500rpm does any body know wot is causing that. i have a avcr running .85 fmic 3" turbo back it holds boost perfectly thru the rev range

the smoke was defiantly blue, car rusn really rich all the time anyway, so makes some black smoke, but recently on back off has been making blue smoke

i have not looked in the turbo as yet, only cause the whinning sound is not very hi pitched

deatils of car: 33 GTST engine mods: fmic pod filter 4" cat back AVCR running .85bar boost a couple of nights back i was doing a "spirited drive in the hills" i geared down and heard a big deep (not hi pitched) whinning sound, i backed off for a while. i few kms later wen i got back on it i smelt an oil smell when i was accelterating. (windows were down, with the windows up u cant smell it in the cabin) i babied the car home in fear that it was somethign big i thought mayeb it was gearbox oil so i changed and put in some redline shockproof stuff, never helped, the car still smells of oil under accelration and when you cruisng along just under normal crusing speeds u can hear a deep whinning sound, i have looked for oil leaks under the car and have not found any, i saw a few drops off teh bottom of the oil filter so i tighned that up a little, but the car still smells and still whines. under really hard acceleration on backoff there is some blue smoke out the back, some ppl have said its black others say whiteish. the car feels strong as normal, ie no power loss at all. just a funny noise and some oil smell also: i changed the diff oil to that vmx80 stuff about 2 weeks ago. any ideas

nope, not bad, just wont get you the best performance. u buy them from whiteline www.whiteline.com.au or from any fulcrum dealer, www.fulcrumsuspensions.com thanks warwick for the help, i manged to do mine in 30 mins today and then did jlnewtons GTR aswell, taht was a little trickier cause i had to remove the extra sway bar that the GTR has.
