is that full rb26 top end head?

Hi there i have purchased a Haltech Honeywell GT101 Single Channel Hall Effect Sensor 18mm DIA HT010608 - has anyone had any experience with this sensor and how to install it? i got wiring down pay i am just confused where to physically install it - i am after a visual if possible or a pic of this on a skyline so i can try fit mine. Haltech adv the tail shaft is proble the best or any of my wheels, but they cant give me anymore advice on how to install it. ( i guess every car is different) this is being used for my speed then my ecu will calibrate for me. as somewhere from my dash to my ecu the signal is not coming in but my speed is showing speed so just past that to the ecu is no orducing a signal - thats why i am doing this

i had a simlar issue with my rb25 i did a change and a few days later i started it up and sounded funny so i chack everything and dip stick was almost empy, no spills or anything is shed and i emptied about 5lt in there, so i went and got another and put in approx 3lt it then it was just over full - then i had it on the dyno almost blow the sump out - emptied 3 lt out to get it down now is fine.. never happend since or before i couldnt belive it i thought something wrong couldnt work out why it was empty but never was - your not the only one this has happend to. i checked oil level a few time and was always low before i over filled it, to this day i havnt worked out what the problem was

i have a haltech 1Q3 dash i have no need for the cluster and i have a spot for the fuel gauge so i need it

hi there - My fuel gauge is broken - it has been confirmed - dose anyone on here use a different fuel gauge eg- autometer gauge? can anyone recommend one that would suit R33 GTST fuel sender? thanks

i havnt tested anything i know for a fact i broke my gauge when i pulle the face off at the cluster - i am was looking at getting a auto meter gauge - it says you can tap directlyinto the fuel sender wire. since i have posted i have found a auto meter gauge where you can actually set it - there is a little more to it - but auto meter ask me to find that out and then they can adv me on the best gauge and how to set up

Dose anyone have any idea what the resistance range is of R33 GTST Fuel sender? I am trying to buy a fuel gauge and reading all the info the gauges depend on what the resistance ohms are. thats what the guy from Auto meter asked me to find out. thanks in advance

yeah i see what you mean thats why i tested everything fuses ect - then i recharged the batterie again and check voltage then again an hour latter and it was droppipng with out anything hooked up. just anouying was something right there..

just to adv ppl since 100 odd seen it and no reply - it was actually the battery - faulty battery - thats it - after testing all my fuses and things was just the battery

hi i have been searching everywhere, all i need to know is what colour is the fuel level sensore wire at the fuel tank or at the back of the gauge cluster which ever, i only need to tap into the wire but i can find out what colour/ which one it is. pls help

ok people everything was working perfect till..... i disco the ecu (haltech platinum pro plug in), i then wired up a few gauges which worked, i have also pulled the doors off and boot lid off. (preping for paint) i recharged the car batterie, then plugged in ecu and put the car onto reds and the car primes then the ecu cuts in and out and fuel pump primes again, this happend a few times then i turned car on clearly wasnt good. while pump was priming the relay in the boot was flickering each prime.. i put in the stock ecu which did the same, whith the haltech in lap top would slowly connect, since then the only thing i wired was the gauges i have disco the gauges, this issues has stoped, but now the red light is coming up on the ecu and can not connect to laptop, (might be laptop) can ecu connect to lap top whith the red light on? now fuel pump wont prime and when i click to start nothing happens motor wont even crank which i thought was on a diffent line? some signals coming out of ecu are working but no fuel or anything. i have check the replay in the boot and all main fuses in the boot i have already check the relay for ECCS. any thoughts? this is killing me what am i missing, i am running a R33 GTST 1995

yeah i am gonna upgrade the spring and see if this helps, my runer did say that could be the cause.. i agree about the waste gate, i want a good one but i think if i can spend 50 on a new spring and last me a while to save some money then i will. my tuner tried 3 set ups 2 with the electronic controller and one with the manual T peice contoller. he had know issues hitting what ever psi he wanted it just wouldnt hold.. which brings us to the wastegate again.

Hi I am struggling for help/ answers, hoping someone with your knowledge can help. My car is an RB25det runnning Garret 35/40 turbo on high mount exhaust manifold, greedy intake plenum, 740 injectors, 500hp fuel pump, now currently running haltech platinum pro. I had my tune last week everything was great until he started the psi testing which was ok until he tried to set the boost - He could set the boost at 15psi and 18psi, car would hit the boost level set (tested on elec control through haltech and manual turbosmart T) once set woiuld do his pull in 4th gear boost was hit, then boost would drop off back to stock boost for remainder of rev range.. Tuner has tuned car on base boost so i can get it registered ect then i will return the car, but i was hoping to try sort it out before i return it to try save some time/ money. My tuner has said it could be watesgate spring or faulty wastegate, he also said could be exhaust gas pressure. he will determain for sure when i take it back, but if i can save some time and money on the dyno i will. In your opinion what could possible causing this? And what could be the fault,? Is there anything i can do to try and determine what is faulty. For example if i can determine its a wastegate i will up grade it and get it organised before i go back to the tuner. current wastegate size is 38mm or 40mm and brand name is a cheap universal and i think it is running a 6psi spring, My tuner said if it is the gate he would recommend a turbosmart 50mm gate any help oe advice would be good.. all vac lines are ok same as pips and clamps, car runs beautiful on stock psi..

hi rb25 high mount manifold was bolted up but car was never started with on perfect fit for rb25 and garret and turbo nectics fitted perfect. in canberra looking for $250

I have R33 gtst 1995 rb25 I have done coils, 740 injectors, intacooler, Garret 35/40 turbo, 500hp fuel pump, hight mount, greddy intake, e manage piggy bank, I woul like to be able to have the car an all round car have fun with drifts enjoy the track and hold my end in a straight line, not gonna be in comps. What do ppl recommend next engine wise, with some details ie part name brand n cost..

yeah once i pull it if Wilkinson get my mate to check the damage and we can go from there should have it off by weekend

free my brother works there same.model as.mine should.work if not ill buy a new one.. you no of anywhere to get a new one.. have had one quote 560 fitted

gettin an alternator from a reck sane.model for free so will try that and go from there

apexi power fc is stuffed guy pull one screw out and found more damage it could be fixed but will take time and not worth the cost do i am looking at buying greddy e manage as my mate has soft wear and tunes his supra. i have stock ecu now till i buy e manage

Is the regulator built in them? My main issue with the car is not enough power to run car which is show no charge back to batterie

Hi guys Ppl are saying get current alternator reconditioned instead of a second hand one.. What do ppl think if reco where can I get it done in Canberra area. Or buy good quality second hand one For 1995 r33 gtst
