yeah i done that but gave fuel pumps constant power to drain - ill need to have a good look in there and see how empty it is might actually be empty

my ******** is with AFP here in canberra - he has no interest in modifyed cars - but hates the system and has had plenty of arguments with traffic cops with some of the things they say - they just defect and pull over modifyed cars because they can - thats the sort of attitude that gives them a bad name and causing problems between police and the public. what frustrates me is these guys are defecting and harrasing any modifyed car because they can - i have been let go a few times as i no some terminolagy (bad spelling) and how to log internal complaints through the police and they hates these as it is a mark on them and stops them getting permotions. i only bring this up if they are not treating me respectivly or are trying to defect me like to low or loud with out actually checking - i dont through this round - as there are good police out there - i dont mind copping a fine or defect if it is correct

this is only hear say but i have been told that s why inspectors have been travelling round ACT with the police as alot of ppl are complaining and taking it further.. i would be thats for sure

this is my two cents - i have a bunch of gauges in my passanger side dash and one on the pillar and a dvd screen yeah yeah bit over the top i was young and having fun with my car - i like it thats main thing - main point is i have been through a few RTA set ups and police pulling me over - not once have i had anything said about the gaues - only exhaust and ride hight - this is in ACT by the way and in regards to the passanger side i check with RTA before doing this and it was ok because there was no air bag and is not higher then the dash - i have now got a race pack dash in as well and that is ok long as it shows all the basics and speed is calibrated - rules may have changed in regards to the gaues but i was pulled up about 6 weeks ago and nothing said - so might still depend on the police -

i think there was a little round the pump level - gonna have a geez in the tank during the week and see what i can find

i will defenatly be a spectator to check it out. it is a shame there isnt mor stuff like this round canberra - i know we all want to throw our cars around in a good enviroment - plus we aint all pro drifter and want to go to the big drift days - me personally i would like to but need to start at something smaller like this and skid pans. lets hope the government can see these days as a good thing.

hi guys this might be simple - but i am trying to drain the fuel tank so i can fill with e85 for tune - i have pumped the fuel in to a jerry can but it only half filled - i aint %100 on how much is in there but it is now only dribbling into the tank so i by passed the 2 big pumps just using the intank pump and it is puffing air and very fin amount of fuel- Q. is it now empty? ( fuel gauge is not working and i have not checked through the cap inside the car) this is what through me off i put all line back on with surge tank blah blah and car started first go and idles fine turn it off and can hear fuel dribbling into the surge tank.. i am %99 percent sure i am gonna have to take the cap off and put my hand in the tank and see any fuel. thoughts

yeah first start up i didnt have the oil top feed on tight and a little leaked but thats sorted gonna give it a good squirt today had a small drive yesterday on boost sounded fine but the extra sound from the turbsmat 50m gate sounds wicked llike another BOV or something lol love it

well car is all back togeather all is well - only thing i am keeping an eye is the copper gasket spray we put in is a little smokey and it is coming from turbo to manifold joint - i am sure it will go away but you never like the look of it. put the same stuff on the mainifold where it joins the block and there is no smoke there maybe seemed to drive perfectly fine maybe it is just the excess burning up

i give all police the chance to treat me respectively, because some are normal people and dont abuse the badge. i was once defected, i asked him what mechanical qualification do you have to know what part is illegal, he told me i dont need any of that "i suspect" blah i thought part engineering was to show particular modifications are safe and with in the road saftey ect? i guess the frustrating thing is day off to clear and 50 odd bucks.. i think they really need to tighten the rules across AUS, i know lot of ppl who put claims in to ACT about false defects thats why inspectors are out in ACT with police. i havnt experience them but have been told they are actually better to deal with then the police specially if ou have a engineering cert? i have only been told this.

this just disappoints me specially when the driver is doing the right thing on the roads.. all the best

crap system...... whats the point in thousands in engineering when they can still defect you - person i think is all revenue raising, but that is my two cents
