the closest we can get to it is with one finger.. got everything else off but this one bolt.. we have removed the heater hose still cant get it.. is there another trick?
the only thing we can think of is pull the intake plenum off (greddy)
is there particular trick or tool - every forum says its a b*tch be patient, but we cant see any other way to get anything to it to take it off, the dam inspection plate is holding it on..
just tips pls
no smart ass comments just help pls
i paid about 1800 -
but get this - no one in Australia will give you a discount so i brought it from a haltech USA dealer in USA - saved close to $500
but i still get all the warrently and service from Aus -
really? mmmmmm defenatly will look into that (they do need dimming of a night)
racepack dash was what sealed me to go with haltech - was looking round and round for power fc but then seen haltech set up and how there ecu and gare works and was sold - plus being australian was a bounus they have been great to deal with.
should try drive it at night lol little regret with the dash stuff but i was 18 lol thats my excuss and sticking with it...
haltech dash is ok at night the others are so bright -
bit of fun anyway
yeah i guess it is hard to pick as i might drive it to work once a week low traffic and or once or twice week jsut cruising round - reset will be on the track -
i think this clutch will be a good starting point for me as things might change and car may end up 90% track/ drift so to start off will see how this goes
ok thanks - what do you mean harder to drive? when releasing clutch where it engages? is that what ppl mean (taking off from a stop) if this is what it means i feel like an itdiot lol
thanks guys - i guess i will need to decide how much street driving i will be doing and if it will be an issue..
thanks for the opinions got alot to think about
cheers
yeah i have thats why i mentioned it in my first post -
i was after opinions on if anyone else had the same clutch npc offered me, and how it was going for them and what power and driving they do..
(admin if this is suited or should be else where drivetrain then move if thats the case) apoligies
nice nice,
i honeslty think npc will be the way i go - alot of ppl here through different cluch links recommend them and this is what they have offered me - i gave em all my details power and plans so i think i am gonna go for it - i am getting to many different opinions on exedy and then different opinions in quality ect - nothing negitive from npc -
guess i will soon find out
mmmm thats interesting -
yeah i have been told its the torque out put - mine put out 480nm
wouldnt life be easier if they said clutch X suited for drift drag street blah blah, and will hold XYZ amount of torque..
do you have the part number for yours or a link?
most exedy dealers are advising me the stage 1 sports ceramic clutch -
one of the guys in canberra that is drifting all the time said he put in the 5 puk carbotic clutch.. and said its the way to go - how long it last i dont no
what sort of driving are you doing? and power output?
na i didnt ask - but i been asking round and alot of companies in australia have said with my power i should be using twin or tripple plate..
then npc sent me this one.. and he said it is rated at 450kw lot higher then my car (314kw) and suits drift and track, so should suit me well - i will be driving it 1-2 days a week and then some drift days through out the year -
so i guess i wanna cover my power output that will suit my driving ie some street and drift (not pro lol)
i might ask him when i call him to order the kit.
little update - car survived the dyno pulled 314.5kw running e85 nice solid safe tune on 20psi - tuner was happy to push it further, said car was running really really clean and well, but i was happy and was a solid and safe tune.
