  2. the top one.. is the gauge running all round.. should i just upgrade the power from battery to relay? or all wires?
  3. in tank fuel pump standard wire - each 044 pump has own wiring apart from, wire from battery splices to each relay the rest is individual wiring from relays to pumps wire roll says 3mm 10a hope what i am describing makes sense

  6. thats what i thought but i have not blown a fuse, only issue is where the wire connects to the battery it burnt off - not sure but looks like the wire hits the battery about an inch off the terminal thats where it has burnt off...
  7. just checked all wires are neat clean not exposed.. the power wire has a connector soldered to it which then bolts to battery terminal.. each relay has a 10a fuse in.. should this be bigger or should i find another power source.. if pumps were drawing to much power wouldn't the 10a fuse blow? its only the power wire off battery rest are fine.. if someone knows more tech stuff about this pls pm so i don't take over thread thanks
  8. i dont wanna take over this thread but i have walbro in tank on standar wire and plug - pumps to surge tank then two 044 to fuel rail - i then have two relays one for each pump generally is fine but twice now the wire has burnt out directly at the battery terminal - fuses in the relay dont blow just cuts out coz there is no power and i turn car off straight away.. why is this happening should i be wiring my direct power line to another wire and not the battery? dont wanna take over so if something knows pls pm me
  9. little update went over every vac line then every clamp very last clamp was little loose wouldnt go tight clamp was busted.. so replaced and test drive.. all fixed thanks for all your advice..

  11. ok guess i just cant go past the coincidence of 10 psi spring and now hitting 10psi.. will do leak test tomorrow.. and see how we go
  12. pls forget the bov sound lol but you do understand when i say you can hear a wg? i can no longer hear that just checked all lines make sure none have come off and all pipes are on tight.. if i did have a leak wat would be the chance of only hitting 10psi consistently in each gear? wg is a turbo smart 50mm pro gate and is plumed back. and can normally hear it easily. if boost T dont work i will be trying a leak test i am currently researching the smoke test - any other easy test? what you mean by confused about "Also totally confused as to what the op is describing,"
  13. so went over everything cant find any leaks nothing everything is on and tight... told my tuner he said boost leak... but car boost normal and hit 10spi easy and normally and holds (wg spring is 10psi) which to me says no leak? like i said i could hear the wastegate open/close of water ever its called my tuner understood.. he said i wouldnt hear it as boost controller is set for 20psi so wont activate till 20 psi is hit? my other possible theory is the electronic boost controller has failed hence why only hitting wg psi.. but if bc has failed and im hitting wg psi the the wg should be activating? i will be hooking up a turbosmart boost T at 20 psi and try that see if that makes a difference.. any other thoughts?

  17. i have a garret 35/40 at the moment but considering a change.. looking to run 360kw - 420kw.. may never get that hight but best to build motor to handle

  19. electronic wired to ecu.... things only changed when the car played up whilst driving.. my tuner said the gate was working fine and sounded great on the dyno.. so was working fine..

YEAH it was like extra bov feeling = sorry really hard to describe happened quick.. car builds boost fine but only to 10psi which is spring pressure and can no longer here the wastegate releasing..thinking something is happend to the gate gonna pull the gate off and gonna take it to be checked wastegate was brought through a performance shop.. arrived assembled and ready to go we welded and installed the gate tp the manifold
  21. all vac lines are fine.. when i first installed the waste gate i was only running spring psi (10) you could hear the gate release like a bov.. its not happening now..
  22. well was driving - gave the car a pedal full in 4th then 2min later in 3rd and then something went not sure was so quick thought something popped off like a line or something - from what i remember was extra air or something - hit neutral and then pulled ovver. so checked all lines and pipes there ok, few revs fine bov works.. drive off test alittle and the sound is so different like its missing something bov seems quieter.. then i notice no waste gate sound nothing - normally its loud.. as loud as bov like a flutter.. anyway nothing and boost is only hittin 10psi, which is spring level, (tuned to 20psi) so things are pointing to the waste gate.. its a turbosmart 50mm pro gate and been on the car for approx 1500km max half of that was on 10psi and some working the new clutch in.. what do you think.. i am thinking something has happend to the gate, has this happened to anyone before? how did you test it/ check? everything else with the car seems fine running normal spooling ect
