hey guys i am having a problem with my car, the issue is my car won't start like when i try to turn the key over there will be no cranking what so ever, i thought it would be the battery so i gave it a jump start but nothing happens the interior lights seem to still work as well as my break lights, but nothing else works the dash light would work until i turn my key over to accessories and then it'll die with no dash light its as though the immobilizer has activated :S, its happened a few times, the first time i managed to fix it by taking of the positive terminal and put it back on after a while, the second time it happened i tried the same thing but it didn't work and so my friend was checking out the fuses to see if it's loose and it seeemed to work but the problem came back, i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? if so what did you do to fix or? or what could be the problem?

saw another silver coupe on the west gate freeway outbound, i think they came on the williamstown entrance around 4.30pm

saw a silver coupe today on the west gate bridge around 9-9:30 was gonna drive by and wave but there was too much traffic for me to get to it lol

i might not be able 2 make it i have a meeting tomorrow if it finishes early i'll try n come by

saw a white v35 seadan last night around 3:00am on main road east just getting off sunshine ave

saw a silver 250gt seadan yesterday in st albans on main rd west around 4.30pm

so if i put on the right tyre when my speedo reads 100 then my actual speed would be close to 100 rather than it reading 90 atm?

it says that my tyre is 235/45/17 what does it mean?

well i do have an aftermarket rim's they are 17" and i got low profile tyres on them as well

yeah that's what my speedo is doing, so like my speedo is sayin 100km/h but on my gps its saying i'm only going 90km/h so that is normal?

what do you mean by that?

so how does it work? if it's on sport its loud and if it's on silent it's quiet? because i've put it on both modes and i can't tell the difference :S

i notice that my speedo is a lil off, is this normal? or is it something i should be concerned about? if it is something i should be concerned about is there a place where i can get the speedo fixed or adjusted in melbourne?

yeah i'm curious about that button as well also with my car next to the vdc button there's a switch that say's sports and silent just wondering what that switch is for as well

i would do the cvt serivce myself given that there is a tutorial or something on how to service it but it would be the first cvt service so i want someone to do it properly :S

is there anywhere in melbourne where i can get the cvt serviced? also with the display screen sometimes it works while i'm driving while most of the time it doesn't any idea what that means?

so the cvt, transmission and gearbox is all the same thing? meaning i service 1 then i service all? lol my pockets are deep enough i guess but how deep are we talking about for the oil? and what type of oil is it or the name of it? :S

hi guys as you can tell i'm new to the forum here, and i just bought myself a v35 350gt-8 i apologize if these questions has been asked before i've done some research and looked through the forum and coulden't find anything :S anyway like i said i just got myself a 350gt-8 and its my first car i've always liked cars but never really got into the mechanical side of it and my question is i need to do a major service on it soon and was just wondering is the cvt, transmission and gearbox all the same thing? if so do i just need to service the cvt and then the transmission and gearbox would be done as well? or is it all different parts of the car and i gotta service it all individually? also where can i buy the cvt oil for the 350gt-8 and how much would it be? as well as a tutorial on how to do this? also when i bought the car the guy said that the display screen has a loose ground wire so it doesn't work :S where is the ground wire located on the display screen so i can fix that? and is there a tutorial or something where i can do the ipod dock mod? or possibly instead of an ipod dock an android dock mod? seeing as i have an android phone and the last question is what bulb type does the v35 use? i know the low beam is a hid d2r and the parker lights are t10, but what about the fog lights and high beam lights? i want to change the fog and high beam lights to white bulbs seeing as the low beam has a white bulb again i'm sorry if these questions has been asked but i'm new to the forum and owning a car lol :S i know this must have been a long read but any help would be much appreciated
