Hi guys It's time to get rid the standard air intake and get me something a bit better. I have read the threads about the a'pexi power intake and decided it looks the goods, i also am thinking of buying it through www.perfectrun.com.au . They have the a'pexi power intake for $345 (not including freight) for the R32 GT-R, is there anything else i will need to buy? or does that kit include everything for the installation? Thanks.

He works at Harvey Norman doesn't he? I remember seeing that beast and i fell in love straight away, forced me into getting one, lol:) .

As some of you know I bought a R32 GT-R about 4 weeks ago and everything was fine until something happened that concerned me tonight. I was sitting on 70km/h in 4th gear when my car felt like it lost some power, so i accelerated to maintain the speed limit, then the car kind of shunted forward a few times and at that time i noticed my front torque gauge jumped up to 5 and dropped again. This happened all in 5 seconds and has not happened before, does anyone know what the hell happened? As i said it felt like i was losing power at the time it happened..... Any help would be appreciated guys.

Just Cars Insurance is operated by AAMI, so they are just as reliable as Suncorp. I am 22 and went through Just Cars to insure my R32 GT-R for $3200, i can do unlimited modifications to my car as long as 1. I tell them and 2. They are roadworthy. The next cheapest was AAMI itself for $4400....

Afternoon guys, I was just wondering what sort of boost i can run with the stock twins on my R32 GT-R? The only modifications are the 3" exhuast and a bigger HKS fmic. During some high speed runs and accelerating through the gears it hits a maximum of 0.7 bar, or 11psi (you can tell i'm an expert:p ). So what's the limit with the TT's with my mods? Well unfortunatly, some stupid driver swerved into my lane (while trying to be a tryhard and pass me whilst going into oncoming traffic) i swerved to avoid getting hit and ran into the gutter..pretty hard. Now my GTR is off the road waiting on some parts from japan (strut, lower control arm, tie rod etc). Then when my baby is on the road again (only had her for 4 days:( ) i can hunt this prick down.

Nope, just that i'm an aussie with a gt-r, lol:) . Mine is a 1993 model and the australian delivered GT-R's were 1991.

Not many mods, just the HKS front mount intercooler and 3" exhaust and the 18" Volk racing rims, she has 89 000 kays on the clock.

Exactly, the whole car moves with the steering, no body roll, just point and put the foot down. You can get the R to swing it's tail out coming out of tight corners (like arrowz, almost caught me out:) ), but i feel more secure taking a corner at 120km/h in the GT-R then the wrx taking it at 100. Some great days ahead me thinks:) .

I hope to attend a few of these cruises. My job kind of restricts me from having fun on the weekend:( . The car is in very good condition and is soooo quiet, i can't believe that under the hood is 2.6 Litres of TT goodness. It out handles and destroys anything that my wrx could do. Unbelievable, i love it!

Yep, as i walked into the dealership that car was being driven away:) . You should have heard the owners white R32 GT-R take off, O-M-G lol:eek: .
