  3. 1993 Burgundy R32 GT-R 18" volk racing rims apexi pods apexi avc-r power fc on it's way (1 week) CES racing exhaust and slightly damaged front lip caused by parking to close to curbs stew
  4. Evening guys, got the GT-R dyno'd today for the first time and wanted to know what other R32 GT-R owners have achieved. It was a RWD dyno so I pulled the fuse and chucked it on, people on the day were mentioning that this particular dyno reads lower then others, some beastie V8's were only getting 240-250hp (they could be making excuses, but who knows). I know it's hard to compare graphs because of different dynos/conditions, but there must be a ball park figure to compare with?. So here's mine: Remember this is RWD not 4WD, mods are just Exhaust, pods and running 0.9 bar thanks Stew
  5. Saw a 1000 GT-R's down at Gavin's while picking up my car. A Chameleon coloured R32 GT-R looked pretty serious, also a white R32 R and a R33 R v-spec, anyone from here?
  6. Out of interest nicknick, what state do you reside in?
  7. Why would you want to down-grade for?
  8. I'll be there, but going with a few friends. Looks like it's going to be a big turnout tonight.
  9. As much as I wish, you don't automatically gain **kw when changing your exhaust. That comes with tuning and able to run more boost with better flow. I haven't put my R on the dyno yet so I am unable to help you there, can feel the difference though .
  10. Got my exhaust done by CES racing and as hungry6 said, their work is second to none, if you want quality then you have to part with a little more cash, i'm glad I did. I posted some pictures of my exhaust in the QLD section, but this gives me another chance to post them:p . . Sounds awesome!.
  11. Remember that in the US they never got the Skyline range, they are only learning it's capabilities atm. The Supra was sold in the STATES and they have a huge aftermarket range for them. To be even noticed over there a Supra would have to run a low 9 sec 1/4mile. They have many more supras running 9's and 8's (most still street driven) then we have GT-Rs running 12's or less. They also have many stock cars that run 12's, Corvette ZO6, Cobra Mustang, Dodge Viper, how many of our local cars can do that? I'd say they would be laughing at us. Did you even read what the event was about? What it involved? It wasen't just 1/4 mile times, so none of the cars were setup for drag racing, there was also track events, braking, skidpan etc etc. Let's see how many 10 sec VL's would compete in that
  12. Was a fun day guys, sorry I had to bail after lunch at Kilcoy, but I had work commitments. First time for me on Mt Nebo, BLOODY AWESOME!! I will be at the next one that's for sure .
  13. *raises hand* That was me. Cars nice and dirty isn't it?
  14. Good to see another GT-R owner up this way, hope to see you out and about GTR Cam. stew
  15. I live on the northside, Narangba. Noone lives out here:) . I was shocked at first, checked all the details to make sure everything was right and it was. An extra $1300 to spend else where:D .
  16. Well it has been exactly one year since I bought the GT-R and it was time to renew my insurance. I received the renewal in the mail, opened it expecting a slight reduction ($3500 for the first year, 22 year old), to my surprise found out I will be paying only $2200 this year, that's a $1300 drop after the first year!! How great is that? Has anyone experienced such a huge drop in their insurance? Just shows that skyline owners are great drivers And before anyone ask's I am with Just Cars. This just made my week:) . stew
  17. I might make a rare appearance, haven't been on a cruise in a long long time.
  18. Afternoon guys, It is time for my little GT-R to experience more power and like many before me I will be heading the 2530's way. Now, before I start to bug all the performance shops in QLD I would just like to know what the damage will be by going down this road? I already have a bigger HKS fmic, nice big exhaust from the guys at CES racing. I know that I will have to replace the clutch, fuel injectors and a few other things and would like a power fc as well. What figure will I be looking at? I know it's a very broad question and prices will very if I buy 2nd hand to new, but any help would be appreciated. stewart.
  19. And what is the price of a nsx-r??? 2-3 times more expensive then any GT-R.
