RACQ check was more comprehensive than I thought. Got the report on a silver 34 just then, and lets say the words on the report leave very very little to be desired. I ain't flying up.

Yotis ... what bodykit is yours? and on that note ... do you reckon your side skirts and rear bar would look nice with the front bar of that silver R34 you saw? (as in the Tommy Kaira one) If I come up wanna come with me and have a closer look and let me know your opinion?

well ... I am going to have a car I am considering inspected tomorrow. The check I am getting is definatly a very detailed check, as they put the car on the hoist, take all the wheels off and check the brakes, suspension and other major components under the car for any damage, and note any parts that look 'newer' than others (ie. replacements), and also check for sprayed panels and replaced ones. End of the day, I would want to get one done even if I flew up. I figure I'll get the check done (and since I am the one paying the dealer / seller doesnt get to see it AT ALL, that's the agreement between me and RACQ) then I make the decision to cough over extra $$ for a flight, then obviously drive it and use my own experience and tests (on top of the notes from the inspection) to make the final call. Re the slipped them $500 ... hmm well I guess I would never know you are right. But I will be driving the car myself anyways when I fly up and I will take it for a good test.If he's available (which he may be) Muz will also be joining me for a test and lookover. Since he owns a R34 himself, it will definatly help I think so ... does that sound sane or not?

hmmm ... well I am looking at paying about mid 30's for a beaut example of a R34 GT-T... but reading this thread has made me rethink that *slightly* how about we put up a poll and see what people's opinions are. I personally belive due to the limited number of the R34's (compared to the R33's), combined with the fact that the JDM market is not responding as well as expected to the new generation Skyline, and therefore are still holding onto their R34's longer than anticipated, this will keep the prices up around the low to mid 30's. Or ... I could be wrong. Who knows. Thoughts? :headspin:

Hi guys, anyone know where / who I can speak to about getting a R34 Tommy Kaira Bodykit (the original car is known as a Tommy Kaira 25R to be exact) I am looking to get the rear bumper. Also, anyone have any nice pictures of carbon fibre bonnets for a R34? Cheers
