  1. Thats great man, thank you! Im only planning on going with the GTR springs over the standard NA springs to avoid any valve seal problems with the increased air pressure from the turbo. Do you think there is no point and i should run with the standard springs? Do you bin the GTR springs as the arent strong enough in your opinion?
  2. RIght finally got the measurements for you man: The installed height of both springs is 35.5mm The coil bind height of the GTR spring is 26mm The coil bind height of the RB25DE spring is 24.3mm The lift of the cams is 8.5mm From what we figured there should be a 1mm clearance before spring bind with the GTR valve springs and the HKS cams. Let me know what you think or if you need any more info?
  3. Have an R32 GTST, ive done an awful lot to it so ill get some pics up soon. It had an RB20DET running 300BHP which is being replace with an RB25DE that im turbo'ing. Just home from porting and polishing the head and re-seating the valves, i dont ever want to see another valve again!!
  4. Just realised i put this in the wrong section, told ye i was a noob! Can a mod move this to the Naturally Aspirated Performance section please?
  5. I have done searches and found a couple of people saying they have planned on fitting GTR valve springs to their RB25DE to stop valve float when turbo'ing them but no yes/no answer on whether it worked on not. Like this for example: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/258474-what-valve-springs-to-use-in-rb25de-head/ Can someone tell me 100% that i can use them without any issues? I know they are longer than the standard 25DE springs anyway. Sorry for the noob question if its been asked a million times before.
  6. Well if it isnt yourself!! Ill have to get in touch with you on FB and see how the build is going!
