  1. I have a 2003 V35. Has anyone had a problem with the speedo needle moving jerkily and sticking at various points on the dial. If so how did you fix it and what did it cost please? Can anyone in WA tell me where to get the speedo recalibrated?
  2. After much stuffing around I got a new key for my 2003 V35. Here's how. You remove the kick panel near the accelerator, in there is a BCM number, get your phone in there and take a photo, you email it to Nissan in Japan with your request for a key code. They then send it to Nissan Australia who will email you to let you know that they have it. You ask them to send it to your local Nissan dealer. You then ask your dealer to order a new key. I paid my dealer about $435 for the key and programming. You take your new key with the original to a key cutter and then take the old and new key back to the dealer who will program it if they have the appropriate coding machine. If not you'll have to find one who does and BINGO!!! you have a new key.....it's as simple as that. Don't be deterred because if you lose or damage your only key, you are totally stuffed.
  3. Hi V Owners My 2003 350GT Coupe came with only one key. Following other posts I emailed Nissan Japan with info from behind the kick panel, they sent the code to Nissan Oz who passed it on to my local Nissan dealer (country WA) who had never seen a 350GT before! All good so far! Now the dealer is confused as to what key to encode. Is there anyone out there who has successfully climbed this mountain and can tell me what other Nissan key can be encoded without having to mortgage the house?

If anyone out there has been successful in getting a new key, can you please tell me from which Nissan vehicle it came from? I wondered if a Maxima key would do the job. Cheers.
