if u disconnect the plug on the AAC wat will happen to the car while its running? my idle is all over the place, and when i clutch in too quick at the lights it stalls other problem is the car is running way too rich.. the back bumper is always black?? wat to do?

Hi guys Am in process of getting sum arias pistons for rb20 im getting em 20' over and wonder if any1 knows the ring sizes where im getting it rebuilt said to use the genuine nissan rings so make sure u get the pistons made to suit the original nissan ring sizes being 1.5 1.5 2.8 What are the sizes of the arias ring sizes and is there a benefit using the nissan rings compared to the rings that come with the arias pistons Let me kno Thanks JOe

R32 GTS4 Rb20det ok, my baby is just bout to die, rattling started last week, sounds like its comin from the top, however every1 ive had listen to it, reckons ive spun a bearing so yeh rebuild on the cards, ganna get it strenghtned while im there.. no point doing half the job. Key signs: idle jumpin up and down, rear bar covered in black crap... installed a boost tee runnin 13psi possibly spiked??? no tune, stock ecu.... my own fault..lol ah well learn from the mistakes Joe :-(

Hi guyz, Have been hearing this like rattling or worn bearing noise comin out of my rb20det recently. It doesnt do it on idle, just when u start to bring the revs up it gets to bout 3500-4000rpm and it starts, sounds like the noise it comin from up top but i dunnoo In 1st and 2nd gear as u creep up the revs slowly u hear it allot but when ur crusing at 60kms say in 4th u hear nuffin. Im confused.... ive checked oil, that seems fine... any ideas?

and i presume there is no way of telling if its been tuned for high flow injectors?? im just stuck on wat ecu 2 buy, cant get power fc no more, was thinkin microtech (lt12) but $$$ i dunoooo wat 2 do

wat would u recommend as a good upgrade for the rb20??

Hi guyz Can anyone tell me wat a vband flange is? i have an rb20 with standard turbo on it. Now if i was 2 upgrade 2 say t4 like the pic below, will my dump-pipe bolt up to this? by dump-pipe by memory has 5 bolts which bolts to my turbo. This turbo looks a little different? is it just a matter of taking that vband flage off? i dont have a clue.... if any1 knows let me kno thanks

i had the missing problem 2 at 4500rpm and did the whole tape em up trick and u beauty, not a problem! in the last couple of weeks, since we have had this hot weather, one coil seems 2 be playing up when the car is at peak operating temp u will be driving, and all of a sudden it feels it drops a cylinder u put ur foot flat 2 the floor and it clears it self up, and then when at normal revs u can hear the miss again by looking at the coil there are a few hairline cracks but ive already taped them and still doin it when at normal operating temp?? any1 had this drama??

hi guyz have an r32 gts4.. this morning started the car put the aircon on so it would be cool 4 when i jump in. Start driving and notice my speedo isnt reading, hasnt moved from 0. Then my steering starts getting really tight like the power steering has stopped, after bout 10mins the hicas light comes on. Turn off the car, turn it back on, steering is fine again, drive for 100m and it starts again. So i checked all the fluids, power steering fluid in engine bay is fine, rear reservoir in the boot is fine. Check power steering belt to see if it hasnt broken and thats fine too. So ive decided to disconnect battery overnite and see wat happens in the morning. Now for the speedo, does any1 have a clue wats happened?? everything else on the dash cluster is workin except the speedo and the odometer of course coz that works with it. is the speedo electronic based or cable?? any ideas wat 2 do with both issues??? thanks joe

Hi guyz ive done a bit of a search but couldnt really find the bosch belts codes for an rb20det silver top i managed 2 get these codes off the belts as follows: ALT: 4PK860 PS: ?? A/C: 4PK925 does this seem right??? couldnt get the number off the PS belt? any1 kno that?? thanks Joe
