http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?/topic/433812-Diy%20R34%20Custom%20Led%20Indicators Hey guys here is the link for the DIY led indicators for the r34 it's my first DIY so be kind lol

And finally the finished product

Ok guys I'm going to post this in the DIY section but I'll post it here for you guys first Items you will need : carbon fiber wrap (eBay stuff is fine) drill with small drill bit Scissors / hobby knife Double sided tape ($3.00 eBay) Clear amber Led strip ($6.00 eBay) X2 Led decoder ($7.00 eBay) Step 1 remove your old indicators you can do this with a flat head screwdriver make sure you wrap it in a cloth so you don't damage the paint. Step 2 Cover the indicator with carbon fiber wrap or you can just spray the black if you don't want to use cf wrap. Step 3 Next drill a small hole in middle on any side (be carful as they do tend to crack) Step 4 Once that is done get the led indicators and feed the wires through the hole. Step 5 Once the wires are through apply the double sided tape to the led strips or strip depending on what you go for. Once there tape is on stick them down how you want. Step 6 Now comes the part that you decide. You can either put the wires into the existing globe socket and put your existing globe in there this will stop the hyper flashing once that's done you can plug them in and away you go. If you want to go down the other path read step 7. Step 7 If you want things 100% safe the steps are similar. Take the lens off your indicators you can do this by melting the glue around the sides I put mine in the oven on 70 for 6-7 minuets (don't quote me use the forums I'm sure they have a better way) Once that's done wrap the lens in carbon fiber and drill the hole in the lens Put the wires through the hole and the connect the wires to the led decoder (solder them better connection) You will need to have the led decoder sitting the the indicators itself there is plenty of room for it. Make sure the t20 globe adaptor is hanging out the other side where you plug the light in. Once that's done test it. You don't want to glue it then have to un glue it!. Once you have tested it glue the lens back on some cilicone or gasket sealer should do the job leave to dry over night the it's a simple plug and play.

I've always liked the shape of the soarers and like the v8 engines in them currently I drive a 34gtt but I wouldn't mind getting one as a daily it will probably be a bit more comfortable then the 34 and also less attention from the 50 I've seen they can go for around 2-18k any one have any dealings with them also any thing to look out for ?

R34 25Gt, Good First Car? Or Not?
Dimi34gtt replied to Brawwwppp's topic in General Automotive Discussion
If you love the shape and the car in general I would go for it but personally I would be looking to get a 25GTV over the 25GT not sure if you know the difference but my understand is the the gtv has the turbo breaks suspension and limited slip diff there also better if you plan to do a forced induction or turbo engine swap down the track so you don't have to replace all of the above. If not you could look at vtec I had one as my first car and for a non turbo It's great I can tell you for a fact that 85% of the time it's quicker then a non turbo skyline hope this helps and good luck -
Red R34 Gtt - Opinions On Brake Caliper Colour?
Dimi34gtt replied to def_jamz112's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I did mine red and put the letters as white my cars black so the red on black looks good but not sure if you want red on red ? But here is what mine looks like any way -
Hey guy so I've got a 34 and I wanted to go for a bit more of a modern look I've got the clear Nismo indicators plus my standard amber ones. Any way 1 night I got bored and got my old amber indicators out I had some amber led strips that I brought from eBay so I'll be posting a step by step on how to do this as soon as I get the pictures from my old I phone ( that's if any one wants to do it ) but here is the end result .

My turbo cluster In my 34gtt stoped working I sent it away to get fixed and I used a gt one from a non turbo it worked for a little bit but then started having issues I didn't think they were different but after mine was fixed it works perfectly so I think there is a difference to be honest

Hi guys I've been home injured for a while so I decided replace the piping in the car with the blue silicone pipe connectors i also cleaned the AMF and blocked off the Bov any way I took it for a drive today and I noticed that a few times I shifted up there was a bit of a pop keep in mind I haven't driven the car in a month and a half. I checked all the pipping and there was no leaking sorry in advance if I posted in the wrong place
