Rb20 Engine Numbers Where Are They

hi all i think i have a big problem on my hands, i own a nissan silvia with a rb20 motor now i got the car with the motor and it had rego. now the rego is close to been up and i went over all the car to make shore its all ok. i didnot think much of it when i got the car as it all lind up the number and all but now when i ahd a chance to think abit a found that the rego sticker says that the engine number is ca18%$#@ now i am not shore but i think the number should start with rb20 or so if its regoed with this number

now i did find a number next to the gear box and it also says ca18%$#@ is that where the rb20 engine number is and if so should it start with rb20 or ca18

i think the number has been changed and if so what can i do make it right
